A Nogales classic that has sadly seen better days. We visited for breakfast, and although the restaurant had a few busy tables, it took an unreasonably long time to be acknowledged, receive menus, and place our orders. The wait for our food was just as lengthy and unnecessarily long. We ordered enchiladas (one with scrambled eggs) and a bowl of menudo. While the presentation was fine, the food itself was average at best—nothing special. The flavors weren’t really present in either of the dishes. Adding to the disappointment, we requested a glass of water but were instead given a bottle—and got charged for it. Considering the quality, the prices felt steep and unjustified. The ambiance was another letdown. The restaurant was dimly lit, with no atmosphere, and felt more like dining in a dusty, neglected space. Ultimately, this local spot has clearly declined over time. With overpriced, mediocre food and a lackluster dining experience, it’s hard to justify a visit.

The food at this restaurant was very delicious and authentic. Our server was very attentive, very helpful and went over and beyond during our meal. Prices are reasonable and there are many good food options on the menu. The flour tortillas were very good and we ordered iced Jamaica for our drinks and it had a great taste as well. Overall I would definitely come back here and I would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic and delicious Mexican food.

This place is absolutely amazing. By far the best Mexican food I have ever had. The service was excellent. Very fast and pleasant. I really enjoyed the old school layout. Definitely a must stop if you are in town . They menu is easy to understand and simple with alot of choices. They also serve ice cold beer. I can't wait to come back here next year.

The only thing good was the salsa. We went there today and it was painful. Almost walked out because the food took so long to get there. When we walked in there was one table there and our first plate (which was French fries) took a good 35 min to arrive. They were home made but still, it doesn't take 35 min to cook some fries. About 10 min after the fries my daughter's plate came out (child's taco with rice and beans) and first bite had a nice big hair cooked into the chicken. I finally got my food (rancheros steak) and it was as if the meat was boiled in water with how bland everything was. Last plate to arrive was the fish and shrimp tacos which were also incredibly bland with no toppings. The high chair doesn't have any straps on them so you can't even use it because it's literally just a high-chair that they can fall right out of. We had to put our empty glasses on the side of the table for the server to come refill our drinks. No check back after we ordered, no explanation on why our food took almost an hour. Will never be back. And our meal was $33. I wish we went to the roach coach...

I went back to this restaurant after so many years (about 15 years) due to stale meat they had given me in a burrito. I decided to try it again. Taste of food is ok. I asked for the enchilada sale fir the day and compared the enchiladas from when a friend had ordered the same plate. Each of my enchiladas was about a quarter or more less than the regular enchiladas plate. No dessert or drink are included in sale of rhe day. For that amount of food, prices are high. When the waitress brought the drinks, I asked her a question, she responded but started to qalk away. I asked another question, she stops, responds and kept walking. Never did she come directly to the table to respond to my questions. She was walking to a table of two men that had called her. The waitress never offered more drinks. She was quick on asking for a TIP. The audacity these people have. They're always asking for tips at the time of payment. It was hot in there....
