Look, I made the mistake of coming to a Thai place and ordering Sushi. That's on me.
What I'll say must take that into account, I should know better than to order Sushi at what is most definitely NOT a good sushi place.
If a restaurant is going to slather mayo on their sushi then they should put that on the menu so I know not to order it. A few well known, and horrible, sushi places do this and it's a horrible practice. Also, you SHOULD be able to eat your sushi in one bite. The sushi here was so big you had to take 2 bites a lot of the time which makes things break apart and ultimately it's just bad.
They don't bring you soy sauce here they bring you a little ramakin, which I think may be a practice b/c of Covid but they had no problem bring menus that look like someone crumpled them up in their pocket for a week before being put on the table.
There's an entire wall called "Specialty Drinks" that looks really nice but 90% of the stuff on there is old and they don't make it anymore.
We ordered 4 sushi rolls and some edamame and we got 3 sushi rolls come back to us, when I asked for the check I told them to please cancel the other roll and the edamame b/c obviously we had finished our dinner already. The edamame did come later as I was paying my check.. not a great appetizer.
The one thing they did really well was the kids meal and so ultimately i was happy with that b/c my kid was preoccupied the entire time but the food was "MEH" at best. And the one beer I ordered was warm AF.
When you sit down here they actually give you a menu looking item that explains that you can't send things back, so I have to assume this is a problem for them as I've never in my life seen that before.
Perhaps the Thai food is better here but I doubt I'll come...

Food 4/5: The menu is huge and extensive, so it was hard to decide what to order. We ended up getting the sampler with the spring rolls, gyoza, calamari, and chicken satay. Our two favorites off that was the calamari and the peanut sauce on the chicken satay. Now we know next time what full orders of appetizers we'll get. Nice option if it is your first time in.
We also ordered the yum yum squid, the shrimp lad na, the nam tok, and the ginger chicken. The yum yum squid was our absolute favorite, but be careful because it is super spicy. The flavor on the lad na was so great; it had the perfect amount of gravy on it. The nam tok was more on the sweet end than sour, and the beef they used didn't look great, but it wasn't bad. The ginger chicken was super tender and moist.
For sushi, we ended up going simple and getting some California rolls, salmon rolls, and shrimp tempura rolls. The rice on them was super soft, so the rolls were okay.
Service 3/5: Like I mentioned the menu was very big, and it was our first time in. The server didn't really help with recommending stuff, she just kept coming back like three times to ask if we were ready to order. If she wanted us to order faster, she could've helped us out a little, but no biggie. We actually did ask for recommendations, but she just blanked and didn't help. Still yummy, and everything still came out fast and we were seated pretty fast.
Environment 3/5: Nothing special, very casual. The place is super fast-paced and loud. It was poppin in there even though it was close to 11pm. Nothing too fancy, but really clean and nice for going out with friends.

Read moreIf I could I would leave a zero star!! We’ve been here multiple times but today is our last. We came in at 7:15 pm. My husband and I specifically ordered a Shrimp Tempura Bento box one with masaman chicken and one with Teriyaki chicken. I received my Bento Box correctly and then my husband received a dish with just Teriyaki chicken and rice. We told the waiter it was supposed to be a Bento Box. Ok they took it back to change it. 30 mins later my husband still hasn’t received his food, by that time I had finished eating my dinner. We asked the waiter why is it taking so long! By this time my husband lost his appetite. We were told we had to specifically specify the Bento box by detail!! Ok so there are only two Bento boxes on the menu. One with sushi and the other with the Shrimp Tempura with options of Masaman chicken, Teriyaki Chicken. I don’t think it would be hard to figure out which box we ordered. They stated we have many Bento boxes, I told them go look at your menu again, there’s only two!! We made them cancel my husband’s order and he didn’t eat. No apologies, no care, no nothing. We definitely won’t be back. Yes we left zero tip. We would have gladly left one for hardworking staff members who go above and beyond especially during these difficult times, but after that service and response, it...
