MY HEART IS BROKEN THIS LOCATION IS CLOSED! Please tell me they have a new location! I refuse to go anywhere else.
This is by far the best pho I ever had in GA! No I’m not Vietnamese but I’ve eaten pho since I was 2yrs old in San Jose California. Thien phuoc I’d more pricer than most local pho establishments but it’s definitely worth it. From the cleanliness to the top tier service and quality. I have zero complaints!.
My daughter and I first went to I luv pho and immediately made a u-turn once my face hit the terrible smell inside. I was so confused how the place is still operating with such god awful smell. After walking out I pondered in my car and seen thien phuoc* next door and decided to give it a try!
Moving forward after visiting 8plus times I was shocked to see this place was yet to be reviewed!!! The audacity! Come on fellow yelpers!
My daughter and I always start off with the rocket shrimp. They’re pretty small but no big deal. Her the beef pho - exceptional can use some fatty beef and more meat but remains an amazing quality, this is real pho !!!
Myself- the shrimp & pork pho. I had for the first time visiting this establishment and it’s now my fav! I have absolutely no complaints. I also order the pork skin to add into the pho! PURE HEAVEN!
The service is top tier. Being African American many Asian establishments aren’t so inviting if you aren’t from their culture but this establishment is very welcoming. They’re patient with explaining the menu and how the meal is prepared. It saddens me to see this place isn’t as packed as the competitor next door. I’ve been to I luv pho in the past and I wasn’t impressed. I make a visit to this establishment at least twice a month. Im moving from the area soon but I will make it a point to only grab my pho here! Thank you for the...
Read moreHonestly… went here because blazin cajun next door closed down. Haven’t been to iluvpho in years, so we’re like alright let’s try this place out bc we didn’t want to go to iluvpho. MISTAKES.
Get there and the owner lady (seems like it’s ran by husband and wife) is talking to someone and she doesn’t even acknowledge us. Keep in mind we’re literally their only table at this point. The lady she was talking to wasn’t even a customer.. She had her laptop out and left a little after we sat down. Her husband comes out from the kitchen, gives us our cups, water and tableware.
We order but kept 2 menus because not everyone in our party arrived yet. They arrive, ready to order and the lady never takes their order, or brings ANYTHING out for them. I had to tell her our order 10m later bc she doesn’t ask.
The food arrives and it’s literally the most mediocre, bland viet food i’ve ever had. The fish sauce was the thing that made the dish. Prices are on the higher side too. Literally 14.99 for most dishes and portion wasn’t even that big. Pretty sure she gave me the wrong thing as well, but at this point I really didn’t feel like correcting her. She never brought out anything for the other 2 in our party and I literally had to ask her husband. Every time I asked for something she kind of chuckled like a “my bad”.
My fiancé and his father ordered the 7 course beef dish that cost $50…… absolute. mistake. Like I said bland, expensive and small portions.
their menu is very limited, service is trash (at least from the lady who’s suppose to be in the front. her husband helped us when he was literally coming in and out of the kitchen), food is mediocre and gave me a bad stomach all night.
If you want to try it out, more power to you but...
Read moreSeeing that this place is new I want to give some objective feedback. The service was good. I enjoyed the enthusiasm but I wished the pho was worthwhile. People typically don’t choose a restaurant just for the service. They claim it’s authentic Vietnamese so I ordered the pho. It was authentically bad. The noodle to broth ratio killed the already bland flavor. When you have too much pho noodles it will thicken the broth. The meat was sparse compared to competitors around and also bland. It was essentially pho in name and looks but I would never recommend this to anyone if I wanted them to taste authentically good pho.
Tasting this one dish told me what I needed to know. There’s no passion for food here. I don’t want to give it another try in the future but I do hope they do improve because I want to see local businesses...
