Coaster Coffee — Restaurant in Norfolk

I chatted with “Chris” a few weeks ago about renting the meeting space. I thought the idea of a Card Playing would be great and I DID present the caveat no gambling would occur. He was fine and told me “I will get back to you (xxxx).”

Almost 3 weeks later, Chris never returned my call! I called this morning (10:50 AM SAT 11 JAN 2020) to inquire about this issue in a pleasant tone. CONTRARY TO THAT, the young lady at the phone manifested complete truculence and a STONEWALL attitude about my follow-up.

Apparently, she cannot even offer to take a simple written message!! I guess CUSTOMER SERVICE skills aren’t a talent any longer; TCC inevitably must offer a non-credit course it seems.

The attitude projected in this one instance is now dubious to this establishment! There’s an old adage and dealing with customers the first time and future times: “the first impression is a lasting impression on Quote.

I stumbled on this coffee shop from Yelp. I’m preparing to move here this summer and I just found my favorite cafe!

This place is the epitome of “good vibes.” It started out great when I walked in and Dirty Heads was playing over the speakers, and the beautiful murals painted inside and out. I had several hours of studying to catch up on, which I was able to do peacefully and was welcomed here to do so. In those few hours, I witnessed people of all walks and creed come in and were greeted warmly by the friendly staff.

There are so many places that say “all are welcome,” but this is the first place where I could genuinely feel that all are indeed welcome.

In addition to the great atmosphere and service, the coffee was great and the croissant was so buttery and delicious!

I love the merch they have on display as well, I’ll be filling my cabinets with the handmade pottery once I move and this place will see me frequently!

We stopped in today, I am a coffee/ latte enthusiast if you will, I was near this location and decided to try them out. The art work and ambiance was wonderful. Very cute, well put together coffee shop. The service was excellent from start to finish also. My friend enjoyed her chai latte very much. She said that her drink was 5stars. I got the Carmel/ cinnamon latte and I really did not enjoy it. The espresso didn’t exactly taste like espresso , my latte tasted more like a cup of coffee and it didn’t sit well. Perhaps I’ll try a hot drink but as far as iced latte …. I’d rate it a 3 star on that drink alone. Something they can work on. My google account is strong and that’s why I’m going to leave a 4 star instead of the 3. I hope this feed back helps you guys perfect the latte because it all has potential . I’d suggest trying out a specific flavor at other places to taste the blend of espresso and steamed milk. My drink lacked all the quality of a latte. We also enjoyed some spinach quiche that...
