Starbucks Coffee Company — Restaurant in Norfolk

Yesterday 7/10/2024 I ordered a Grande mocha cookie crumble frap. The price was $9 even. I looked up at the clerk and said, "did you say $9.00 dollars?" He smiled and said yes. I said, wow, ok. After taking a few sips I realized that it was far to sweet for me and was going to throw it out, my friend insisted that I take it back in and ask for something different, which I did. When I asked for a new drink and shared that my friend would not let me throw out a $9 drink, the second clerk looked alarmed and immediately asked the clerk why it was $9, they stepped away and whispered something and then prepared and gave me the new drink, when I asked what she was alarmed about and how much the drink was, she said she doesn't know the prices by heart, and not to pay attention to her. ............This seemed very strange so upon leaving I went to my app and ordered the same drink from the same store. It came to only $8.00. I can only assume the clerk is giving himself a tip each transaction without permission. I hope you investigate this matter, and prove me wrong because this is theft. Very disappointed...

This review is for the Starbucks at gate B17. Went there this morning, and I always do a mobile order due to the number of people flying out early morning. The order went through at 4:40 and they weren’t open yet even though the app said they were. Fast forward, coffee was finally ready about ten minutes late. Food was about another 20 minutes later, with folks who were currently ordering at the counter getting their food first. When I asked about it, the young lady making the coffee replied that the food orders were backed up. My observation was that the young lady making the food was not pleasant at all and was somewhat dismissive when asked about orders for folks who were now boarding their flights. She was super rude and not friendly at all. Pretty sure if she could’ve thrown the food across the counter, she would have. Worst experience I’ve had at this location and not a great way to start a long...

I got a Carmel frappe with extra drizzle I see she made the drink and put it in the counter with no drizzle so I went back to who was at the register and I told her she turnt around and said “girls it’s a Carmel frappe it needs drizzle” the African American young lady responded “oh it’s a lot of Carmel already in the drink” and says “just take the lid off” and applies it only on top of the whip cream and says “extra drizzle” .. don’t be rude .. I did not tell you to Apply for a brista position nor did I make the rules if you did not want to make the drink how it was supposed to be made which is the way I paid for them maybe you shouldn’t have choose that job at all . Very rude and passive aggressive over a drink I paid for . Taller white lady made sure she added it to the best of her ability and made sure it was suitable for me , chubby African American girl disrespectful. I went at 8:40-8:55 am...
