Had some time to spare & decided to stop in. What I didn't account for was how horrible the customer service was especially from this one waitress. I wish I caught her name. From the minute I walked in n the service she provided I should have walked out and went across to Burger King.....
She greets me n tells me to sit anywhere. I do. She then tells me the area is closed I needed to sit elsewhere. I do. Tell me she will clean off the table immediately.... the immediately was 10 minutes.
She tells me to scan the code for the menu.... and also tells me two items are out. I asked for a coke as they don't serve Pepsi products. She says the machine will take a few minutes to be fixed n she will bring me a water. Never does. Tried numerous of times to get her attention because the code doesnt work. Epic fail. Someone else had to take my order.
After someone takes my order, she comes to say she placed my order( ummmm i don't think so) .... still no water.....
My order comes: strong drink & decent burger..... halfway while eating my order she comes n says the machine is fixed I can bring u a coke now.....are u for serious??
I was able to find 1 of 2 waitresses who helped me n tipped her for taking the time to serve me even though she wasn't my waitress only for her to tell me she took over for this girl.... so obviously I paid my bill n tipped her more because she was a courteous waitress.
Ultimately I was not impressed by the service n the burger could have been better. Plus when I asked my new waitress about something on the appetizer list..... they were out of that too. So when I fly back out I will not be back.... n I'll just go straight to Burger King or anywhere else for...
Read moreNice atmosphere, friendly staff but horribly managed with a wait staff that's either over-worked or not suited to the job. Perhaps the kitchen was understaffed, but there appeared to be enough servers in the front. Food took way too long to get to our table, like 40 minutes, drinks took even longer so if you are in a hurry this place will not be. Wasn't even half full of people but the wait staff was acting like their hair was on fire. Servers didn't know where the plates were going running around the restaurant in circles. The simplest requests seems to be a long drawn out process. To make matters worse, the Order to Table app is clunky at best and seems to only add another layer of stress and confusion. It tried to charge me for the last people who sat at our table because it wasn't cleared out.
There is nothing complicated about the food at this place, just really basic, under-loved diner food. The type of food you'd settle for because you need to eat before a flight or before you get to where you need to be in Richmond. Most of it was pre-prepped stuff so you'd think orders would fly out but, again they don't and at airport prices, there's really not much incentive left to want to eat here. My sandwich wasn't even room temperature, it was cold. Fries were definitely sitting around for a long time before they got on my plate.
It wasn't just us, nearly everyone around us was dealing with the same issues. Sorry to see such a nice atmosphere and what could be a great place fail so hard but there it is. I'm only saying any of this so that someone can get this place back on track. Again everyone was friendly, just seems to be an upper...
Read moreCynthia is terrible!!! No personality. It says to order at the bar, but she looks at you like why are you standing here, instead of greeting you. We ordered as she wiped down a table... she wiped 2more tables and helped the only other table seated, before putting our order in. Order comes up and she carries the open plate of food, answers her phone for a video chat and continues chatting before bringing the food to the table. The entire restaurant, the only one open mind you, so there's no choices here, heard that she was wondering if the playpen was sold, as she carried on her video chat comfortably. Maybe shell work every shift, maybe shes ok with working doubles, maybe you can count on her over anyone else, maybe that's why you tolerate her lack of interest in true customer service.But next time I'm certain to grab something inside the gate, or maybe even in Baltimore before I would eat here again. I dont like the cancel culture, but if you dont see a problem with staffing this way, I dont see a problem with choosing somewhere else. Especially when this is the only choice for this spot...I'll wait or be hungry. I would encourage you reading this to do the same.
I gave it a 2 because the burger was bigger than the bun and the fries were hot. Otherwise it would have been a 1...
