I heard this place was amazing so I gave it a try but I will NEVER come here again. My server seemed uninterested and didn’t bother to even give us her name. We never received a refill nor an offer for a refill for that matter. She offered a nearby table a refill but he didn’t receive a refill either. The booths were disgustingly dirty. The food was less than basic and took 15 mins for eggs toast and potatoes in a near empty restaurant. The cherry on top of the situation was there was hair in the food...TWICE!!! The original & the remake both contained hair cooked INTO potatoes first and the eggs second. Not once did a manager come over. No one ( not even the server) checked on us after the remake. I had to bring the plate to them and point it out for them to even believe me. Even then still no manager. My server didn’t even pay enough attention to realize the was already re-made once. They took off that plate. I paid and left. I’ve been a server most of my life and this experience is one of the worst I’ve...
Read moreThe food is decently priced and the place looks cool (very old fashioned). However the service was poor and the menu was apparently outdated. The menu lists coke products as beverage choices to which we were told they have Pepsi. Then when attempting to order orange juice as listed on the menu the waitress says "no orange juice". Whether this means they were out or simply do not have it, I don't know. I inquired originally if they serve full menu all day to which I was told they did. Then when ordering a side of fries with my sandwich I was told they didn't "usually turn the fryer on until 10am". Doesn't sound like full menu to me. The waitress didn't come by our table to check on us at all and when flagging her down to request our check she yells across the room "at the register". Overall just not a great experience and I don't expect to return. I see this place has been there for a long time and is apparently pretty popular, so maybe it was just an off day for them...
Read moreI visited here twice the first time they had a sign saying no mask no service, I didn't have a mask so I went somewhere else. This time I stopped by for a late breakfast on a rainy day. They advertise take out only but I think you may be able to dine-in, I ordered a Western omelette with grits and toast to go. I noticed while inside there were a lot of things they didn't have on the menu including juice. As I flipped to the lunch menu I was warned that they only had club and BLT sandwiches and breakfast items except waffles. The food came fast and the diner staff seemed to be pretty friendly. The food was what I'd expect from a little tin diner but I do feel it's a bit over priced. Spent $13 on my meal before tipping. Again maybe another time when they're stocked or I go earlier it would be a better experience. I will try it...
