Due to the lack of consideration and service my husband and myself experienced yesterday evening while dining at the bar which was being tender by Grayson and Jake, we shall not be returning to this Pub W location. We have become some what of regulars visiting this establishment once, if not twice weekly, for some time now. Enough to know that Mr. Gil visits at least three times a week and always sits and the end of the bar. How they all love him. Anywho... my husband only ever drinks water allowing me to enjoy a variety of adult beverages... last night's service, better yet lack there of, left us both without water as well a drink during the latter portion of our dining experience which consisted of appetizers, entrée also dessert... was personally not ever asked if wanted another round of my drink of choice therefore at some point requested another on my own... only to have it slapped down in front of me. . While my husband was left without anything to quinch his thrust or to wash down his meal for the rest of the night ... all the while observing one of the two names mentioned above walking directly in front of us sipping on his cold refreshing larger glass of ice water. We get it, these fellows do not like us. We received the memo loud and clear as the resturant was no where near busy or packed. Rather than mention this fact to the management on call that evening which could be their buddies, we talked it over last night and decided updating our reviews would be the best course of action as it shall go directing to upper management. 👍🏼 Please if you are behind the bar may you inherit a double portion of Rylan's spirit as he is not only a fantastic tender, he is an exceptional server. The food was and has always been top notch. It was merely the blatant disregard for service that shall keep us from returning.

While our beloved dogs were enjoying their spa day around the corner at Petsmart, my husband and I decided to stop in to replenish our fuel tanks. Rylan was absolutely wonderful, we highly recommend this establishment for it's top notch quality food, drinks as well service!! Thank you Pub W of Norman Oklahoma for being everything one could have hoped...
Read moreI had an incredibly disappointing experience at Pub W in Norman, Oklahoma, and I feel compelled to share my frustration. I have Celiac disease and Crohn's, so I take my dietary restrictions very seriously. When I ordered the filet with balsamic brussel sprouts as a side at Pub W, the staff assured me that it was gluten-free and safe for me to eat, even going so far as to mention they have a separate fryer specifically for the brussel sprouts. However, to my horror, they did not clean out the fryer basket, and battered and fried onions were mixed in with the brussel sprouts. This is something I specifically cannot have due to my condition, and it was a major oversight on their part.
I immediately informed the bartender, and she sent over a manager who filled out an incident report, apologized, and seemed genuinely concerned.
As a result, I spent the next two days in severe discomfort, having to take time off work to recover. This could have been avoided had they been more diligent with their food preparation. When I called the following day to speak with a manager, I was told the General Manager would reach out to me, but unfortunately, no one ever did. The only actions taken were filing the incident report and comping my meal. However, I never received an apology or any follow-up.
I understand that mistakes can happen, but the lack of communication and follow-through is inexcusable. Had I eaten any more (I only had one bite of the onion), I could have ended up in the hospital. It's not just about the physical toll this caused me, but the total disregard for my health and safety as a customer. Given this experience, I believe they should remove all "Gluten-Free" indicators from their menu if they can't properly accommodate guests with dietary...
Read moreIt is apparently pronounced "Pub Dub" and don't say "Pub double-u" because no one does that apparently.
If you have ever been to Germany, you know it has a smell. I don't know if it's all the pretzels or all the beer or what, but Germany has an amazing smell, like home... and heaven...
When I walked into Pub Dub, it smelled like that. It smelled like heaven and home and Germany.
The food here is top notch. I mean, it's incredible. I have never been disappointed. My goal is probably to try everything they have, except the fish, because fish is gross, and nobody actually eats fish, that's a myth about humans.
This place has indoor seating, outdoor seating, and like an inbetween seating. Apparently there is upstairs seating also and someone told me it's amazing up there but I have not been up there.
If you need food, and if you want it to be slightly expensive, but also to know that the money is well spent because the food is AMAZING, then Pub Dub is where you should go. Go tonight. Go...
