Little Miss Moffitt — Restaurant in Norristown

I interviewed Little Miss Moffitt's Founder on my radio show, and was gifted two of the bars and two of the cookies (of my choosing). I opted for the Raspberry White Chocolate Bar, Casey's Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel Bar, Glazed Raspberry Almond Shortbread Cookie, and Double Trouble PB Choco Chip Cookie.

They were all delicious, arrived quickly and packed securely, and each treat was also individually wrapped.

To my surprise, my favorite of the treats was the Glazed Almond Shortbread Cookie. And I was only surprised because I'm such a huge PB/Chocolate fan. That said, the Shortbread cookie was buttery and was mild in its sweetness. There is something comfy to eat an almond-based cookie, with the raspberry filling; the buttery taste from its shortbread origins only added to the enjoyment of the cookie.

My top favorite of the dessert bars was Casey's Dark Chocolate Salted Caramel. It again carries a buttery profile, and continues with a salty-sweet taste from the caramel, chocolate, and the bar's base. If you want to send someone a sure-fire favorite, I'd highly recommend this bar.

The Raspberry White Chocolate Bar and Double Trouble PB Choco Chip Cookie were both very good as well. Both were dense, full of flavor, and I enjoyed every bite. However I think my taste buds are beginning to change and I'm starting to enjoy a milder sweetness level as I get older. So although these two treats are both very well conceived, they do land higher on the sweetness scale. With that in mind, if you are sending a group of people a gift of Little Miss Moffitt...I suggest sending a combo box so you can make everyone's sweet...

I ordered client gifts from Little Miss Moffitt this year, and Karen (the owner) made the ordering process so easy. Personalizing each gift was a priority for me, so she offered that, if I wrote out my cards and mailed them to her, she'd personally make sure the right card was inserted into each box of treats before they shipped.
