Bobby's Apizza Restaurant — Restaurant in North Branford

I can't take away the fact that this place has delicious pizza but when it comes to customer service I am less than pleased. I do not live close to Bobby's pizza but I had an appointment in the area so I decided to order. I got all the way home, which is 20 minutes away from Bobby's, to open the pizza and find out they gave me the wrong one. So I called and told them and they told me to come back and get the right one. I was irritated that I had to make the drive but I let it go considering they were willing to make it right. I also brought the old one with me just to prove to them that I was being honest and I didn't get the right one. When I got back there, the girl at the counter said you can take the wrong one home as well bc it was our mistake. I thought that was great customer service considering I did drive 20 minutes there and back to get a new pizza. Then she went to the back to grab the right pizza and when she came out she told me I'm sorry I do have to take that pizza back. I said excuse me? And she said yeah I'm sorry I was mistaken I have to take the wrong pizza back. So I said aren't you going to just throw it away and she said yes. That was it. She expected me to take the new pizza and just walk out. No one offered money off, no one said pick a free item, nothing! Just "sorry". Needless to say, that left a terrible taste in my mouth and I will never eat at Bobby's pizza again for that reason. Which is really disappointing because the pizza...

I've written over 200 reviews on Google and growing up in a Italian household we always went to Italian restaurants and pizza joints. And the last few yrs we spent half the yr in Madison and half in north branford ,and in Madison we think GRAND APIZZA is the BEST in the state ,and luckily we founds Bobby's which can compete with any or all of new haven apizza , we go to Bobby's once a week and it's excellent pizza ,they also have very good stuffed breads , 2 weeks ago we actually sat in and ordered and the food seemed better perfectly cooked and the sausage is by far thier best add on .but if u live near or on Rte 80. U have to get a pie from Bobby's and thier service is on point u order a pie or 2.
