A-Z Deli & Grill — Restaurant in North Carolina

For cleanliness I give this place a zero for the restaurant part. The extension part where you shop was much cleaner. But who want to eat in a dirty restaurant? I am a door dasher and I went in to pick up my customers order. I had to use the restroom and OMG that was the nastiest place I've ever seen in a restaurant! The men's bathroom was open and it was extremely nasty. The toilet looked like it had not been cleaned all this year sinks ,floors ,windows and all! The women's restroom was a little better but it was nasty just as well especially in the window seals like it had never been cleaned. When I came out of that I looked into the kitchen and on the floors all the trash paper lots of mess on the floors and the grills look like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. The waiting area with the tables were sticky and hadn't been cleaned off the floors hadn't been swept I would not eat there for myself and I recommend anyone else too. If the restaurant is nasty I assume the cooks are just as nasty and probably don't clean their hands or be clean...

Last night was our first time eating from here. We decided to place our order on DoorDash for pickup. We read the reviews and decided to try a combination of foods. We ordered the steak & cheese sandwich, the chicken & lamb over rice with a salad, a cheeseburger and cheese fries. The order was ready upon our arrival for pickup. Everything was hot & fresh. The burger and the sandwich are good. Our favorite is the chicken & lamb over rice with a salad; it's absolutely delicious and seasoned well. The cheese fries could have had a little more cheese on them. They do have desserts as well. I found this out once, I went inside to pick up the order. I would highly recommend coming here to try the food. I know that we will be back to try some of the other items...

I literally go to deli on a daily base since it has been open the guys know me there and know what I order the past weeks they have been messing up my order and then have a excuse every time . So today I told him it will be the last time I will ever buy there and plus they over charge your for every plate or sandwich they sell I’m from New York and I still have family over there and I call to compare prices they are over charging us here over $5 so be mindful before going here there is a lot more healthy places and better food than this . For you to pay a so much for it and not get what you order. I hope everyone gets to see this...
