Hwy 55 Burgers Shakes & Fries — Restaurant in North Carolina

I don't give bad reviews unless I feel it NEEDS to be done. My family usually comes to this located about once a month, the manager is amazing. Let's start as we were walking in, the manager was on her way out. We got a lady by the name of Britt... And this is were it all falls apart, we place our drink order and then she comes back and we place our order... 2 hotdogs just mayo mustard and ketchup, a bacon cheese burger with tater tots, a John boy and Billy with tater tots, a BLT without tomatoes because I'm allergic to them with onion rings, 2 grilled cheese sandwiches by their self..

So order comes, everyone's is right but the BLT which has tomatoes, and no grilled cheese. She takes the BLT and says oh I thought the grilled cheese was to go... Mmm no never said that... Well the BLT comes back, let me tell u what they did. They used the same bread and just took the tomatoes off it and gave it back... I could of done that. But after eating it and noticed what they did i immediately had to take Benadryl..... Grilled cheese finally get to the table after her asking me 4 times are they to go... and when asked for mayo packets she rolled her eyes. There wasn't any refills, she rolled her eyes at basically everything. For God's sake lady you could of killed me. And her answer was I talk to them it won't happen again. Seriously glad another life is in ur hands makes me feel so confident... so after that my husband redeem a free custard off his app and I wanted a milk shake to share with my girls. Before I could get the words out my mouth the slapped down the bill, well ok... excuse me... I wanted to order a milk shake, told her what I wanted and Lord behold she messed it up as well.. got mad about having to redo it.. at this point I'm done, I'm pissed off my face is swelling up, and I don't want anything else from the place... all said in done she didn't get a tip because of how rude she was, every thing seem to be a problem. Or she had a problem doing it... Then once she noticed she hadn't got a tip, went to tell the cooks and other staff...

CHECK YOUR FOOD IF IT HAS TO...

This is by far the worst hwy 55 I’ve ever been too. I don’t even know where to start. When arriving there was so much going on customer complaining about the food being nasty and waitress telling them something was good when it wasn’t. Me and my husband witness an older couple go through that while being there. The older couple behind us tells the waitress that what they recommended for them to get wasn’t good so the young lady waitress with the little arm that wear glasses which is the one that took our order told them that she will give them a free meal, which they agreed too. While waiting on their second meal it never came out so they left. Fast rewind to my situation, when we came in we got seated and order our food. The lady that came to take our order forgotten all bout us we was sitting waiting for our drinks almost 20 mins. We even reminded her that we didn’t get our drinks. She said okay I’m coming, we still waited patiently and she still didn’t bring it . So this nice Hispanic lady from the cook line came and asked us what was our drinks. We told her and she apologize for the other lady and went and got our drinks with no problem. Not only did she bring our drinks but also made sure we had our food. I forgot her name but will never forget her face I just wanna tell you thank you sooooo much and they really needed give MVP. Our originally waitress never came and check up on us or nothing. No refills she was just mad. So the same waitress that never attended to use that was suppose to, took our payment and got mad that we gave the lady in the cook line the tip instead of her ….. in reality the lady on the cook line took care of us the whole time while still doing her job on the cook line that speak volume she loves what she do. And to the young lady that took our order that was rude i pray God gives you strength, patience’s and the ability to work...

Walked in sat down table was dirty . The condiments were nasty too even think about touching them Waited few minutes orders taken drinks ordered . Waiting about twenty minutes .no drinks . customer service was very lacking seems more training would help them .plus placed smelled like cigarette smoke .Then food arrives was burnt or very over cooked . Tried ordering something for my daughter that sat up there several minutes before finally being brought to the table not hot . And no fork to eat it with. The fries were cold and dry .seems more important for the door dash and drive through .to go orders . To be done first .then serving customer who is waiting at a table is last concern . Don't think I will be returning here ever to bad my daughters loved coming here . Being autistic they like the decor and the way they used to be treated by other highway 55 in Sanford . Over all the experience was not something I wish for them to go...
