Update 2022-01-03 ------------------------------ We returned with our kids for our 6 year old's birthday dinner tonight. By coincidence, we had Jeff as our chef again. Our waiter was Jojo. They said that our experience wasn't up to there standards (we saw it was busy when we walked in, so expected a wait), and they spent our time there ensuring we had an outstanding dinner, and they succeeded. Jeff was hilarious once again, really topping off an already great day. He kept our kids' attention nearly the entire time, but he also had plenty of personality to spare for my wife's and my enjoyment. We'll be back for the wonderful food and staff. Original ------------- My wife and I went here on a date night whim. We had chef Jeff, who showed up to our table unassumingly by bumping his cart into 3 different diners (I honestly thought the first 2 were just from carelessness, until he started laughing with the third diner). Within a couple minutes, he was absolutely the life of the restaurant! He had the entire table in constant laughter until he finished cleaning the grill. The food was very good, but even if we didn't eat, we'd go back just for his show! The family with which we shared a table had 3 young kids, and it was almost as much fun watching their interaction with him as his more adult-oriented jokes! Next time, we're bringing our kids and waiting for his show, because he absolutely made our night!

We come into this location quite often to order sushi, and we order a lot of to go orders for home from this location. For the most part, our services has been pretty good. Came in Saturday and had Samantha as a server. And I have to say if we were to come in again, we would probably walk out as opposed to going through with the meal if this was the server. I literally repeated 6 times to Please make sure there is NO row or fish eggs on our sushi. And when it came out covered in fish eggs. I asked her about it, and she says "that's my mistake, I didn't write it down." When the salads were delivered, I asked for more dressing because mine was not wet enough. It took her almost to the end of the meal to bring the salad dressing and only after I asked again. I've worked in the restaurant business for a long time. So I understand things can get busy. But she really was not waiting any tables except for us. Honestly, it's poor service, I think that when I'm paying an 18% gratuity. That is automatically added. Because I have 3 children. The service should at least be worthwhile. When you're paying a $150 for a meal for dinner. Quality of services important.

This place has gone downhill.. They use to provide good food and great service. Not nomore.. the waitresses all looked either clueless or worn out, I think the Chef must feel the same because vegetables were cold on dinner plate and the food was warm, I ordered a Pina colada and the waitress who mixed it clearly had no Bartending skills.. The Pina Colada had a bunch of whipped cream on it with a Cherry on top. I have never seen a Pina colada served like that.. when I took a sip it was pure liquor and ice chips. Absolutely no hint of coconut or pineapples or anything tropical.. Just pure liquor with watery ice chips, horrible.. I took 2 sips and sent it back.. Service is Horrible and the Food is declining….they need to hire an experienced certified bartender if they going to offer special cocktails on there menu which are not cheap.. having a waitress just run behind a bar trying to mix drinks she has no knowledge of doing, is not good service, not for the price they charge.. I also notice Wait staff constantly changing..

Had reservations at 7pm for my 40th. Arrive at 645pm and check in. Others who’ve walked in are seated before us. We were finally walked to our table at 740pm. Then once finally at the table the waitress took our order. If the long wait for a table was any indication as to how the night was going to go, we would have left before we were seated. We finish our salads and soups and then waited.. and waited and waited. We watched others who sat down after us get service and their entrees. Another cook at the table next to us had asked us if we had ate been served yet. One of our guest went up and pointed out the disappointment with our experience so far and our long wait to someone at the front of the house. No apologies just told that they were finding us a cook. From there it was excuse after excuse and offers for free appetizers for the wait. We did not want anything free, we just wanted to have our food and go by this point. I never even was asked if I would like a refill for my drink. The staff seemed annoyed that we were there at their restaurant.. we didn’t feel welcome and we felt ignored. NOT once did the manager come over either. Just so disrespectful! The only positive part about the night was our cook! We have gone here on other occasions and never had a horrible experience like tonight. So disappointed, won’t be returning. Thankfully my company is what made my 40th special because Sakura here sure...

so I have mixed feelings about this place. I have been going here since we got stationed in ft. Bragg 2yrs ago. Yet when they opened up doing take out only because of the corvid19 pandemic I placed my order spent over $60 and multiple things were wrong with my order. I substituted some things on my sushi and agreed to pay two different 4.50 upcharges on each roll but the sushi didn't have the substitutes and they gave me the wrong soup and when I called to asked about getting fixed talk to a guy who said he was the manager and then decided to argue with me about how my order was correct that the soup they gave me was the right soup yet changed the name of the soup half way through argument and then said that the sushi was given the tuna that I was charge and when I said it wasn't because it was the original way the sushi is made not how I paid for it to be made. And then he said they don't do refunds or anything unless there is something wrong with the food, to which I replied there is its not what I ordered and paid extra for. Yet he continued to argue the whole time about how it always made this way and that it was what I ordered and paid for when it definitely was not. I have went here for the last 2 yrs way more than I should have but loved it yet now I will never go back. Because they wouldn't make the order right or refund if brought back in after arguing for or 20mins in which one time they...
