Papa Johns Pizza — Restaurant in North Carolina

Oh my God what a great Papa John's! Just moved to Old Town Cameron I don't have a Papa John's or really any pizza place that delivers. finding out as I go. I called the Sanford location which Google told me was closer to my location. They were completely confused and rude & beyond unhelpful. The gentleman told me to go online he told me that he delivered only for me to find out that he didn't deliver and I couldn't order online because carryout have been closed he wouldn't take a coupon that was for online because he said I had to use it online I could go on and on but this review isn't about that location this review is about the amazing experience I had at the Cameron location! Totally different experience! When I called this location that I'm giving the review for the Cameron location but Papa John's the person who answered the phone was incredibly incredibly helpful incredibly incredibly nice even though they were a minute after carry out ordering because I had a waste of time on the phone with the other location he still took the carry-out order not only that he was able to do the carryout code but suggested instead that I go with the special of the evening that was even a dollar less than the carryout code! Extra dipping sauce is 99 cents a cup! It has maybe an ounce of a simple condiment. The Sanford location is 75 cents. Just a quarter you say, quit complaining, but that's a 33% increase comparitively! These prices are set by the owners of the individual franchise, so you can't blame corporate. This location is the closest to me but I'll drive a few more miles to the Horner Blvd location out of principle so that my money doesn't go to a price gouging franchisee owner trying to pad their pockets off of a comdiment! I understand charging enough to cover the overhead off of it, but to profit from a condiment is kind of a slap in the face when franchised places like Arbies has sauces in the dining area on pumps. I’ve been ordering pizzas for many decades, and I’ve never had a delivery driver from any pizza place leave the pizzas on my front porch. If that wasn’t bad enough, they didn’t knock, ring the doorbell, call, text, or do anything to let me know my food was left on the ground. How lazy and piss-poor of a human does one have to be to do something like that? Cold pizza was my reward for giving the driver a decent tip online in advance, I guess shame on me.
