Decided to bite the bullet and get a lobster roll from this place. I read the negative reviews about size and price......Not quite sure what people are expecting. This is LOBSTER, you will not get a foot long sub!!!!!! I appreciated how fresh and flavorful this roll was.... It is not traditionally served hot in Maine. So if it is served cold, so be it. It's LOBSTER!!!! They gave me a choice warm or cold. I chose cold. It was warm by the time I ate it from the warm roll. The Cajun and garlic butter are really seasoned well. The bread was toasted and buttered. This roll can stand up against Luke's Lobster of Maine any day. The young man and woman who helped me were very kind and personable. I had 2 lobster rolls and a cider. I thoroughly enjoyed my food. Trust me for the quality roll you receive, Legal Seafood in Boston and many places in Maine charge $35.00-$50.00 for a roll the same size. Also Luke's roll is priced at $25.00. The rolls are a good price considering EVERYTHING is priced HIGHER since Covid. Completely thrilled and full. I will return with...
Read moreLove Lobster Dogs! Been craving lobster rolls since moving from New England and have tried several, most of which are meh (at best) then stumbled upon Lobster Dogs and feel like I’m back home! Staff: We were greeted by great staff who were fun, knowledgeable, answered all my random questions and took great care of us! We ordered takeout out but next time we’ll definitely eat in because they’ve got a GREAT bar, live local music, karaoke and a casual dining room plus picnic tables outside!! Food: AWESOME!! We had both the hot and cold lobster rolls which were delicious! Both were NOT light on FRESH, perfectly cooked lobster (but you can add extra meat for $6 tho I sure didn’t need it!). Had a whole cheese steak which was incredible, cooked perfect, huge, on fresh and GOOD bread! Mmmmm! Food came out really quick, hot (except the cold lobster roll!) and wrapped up perfectly to go. Cannot wait to go back and enjoy the live music and good people! Thank you for making our first experience a GREAT one and we look forward to all our...
Read moreMy friend recommended based on the company’s food truck. The food was overrated!!! My main concern was not the food but how we were treated. We were never greeted!!!! The place was packed and we were the only African Americans in the restaurant. I watched the owner and staff walk around chatting with customers at all the tables EXCEPT ours. We ate dinner and chatted for 3 HOURS and they never made eye contact with us. It was as if we were invisible. The ONLY person that acknowledged us was the little Asian cashier who took our order. She was sweet! She also waved goodbye as we left. I am not from Denver and I was definitely in for a rude awaken. It was my first time in the area doing BUSINESS with local citizens. I am also not accustomed to this treatment but I guess it’s the first for everything. African Americans must not be welcomed here!!! If so I missed the wonderful and warm hospitality the other customers received before...
