I ordered on my subway app like I always do and I only go to this location because it is the cleanest store in Boone and the best customer service. Somehow my app got changed to Wilkesboro location and I didn’t realize it so I went in to pick up my order and they said they didn’t have an order for me. The manager Hannah came and looked at my phone and she told me that my order went to the Wilkesboro location. I called the Wilkesboro store to cancel my order and they told me they couldn’t cancel my order. Hannah overheard me on the phone and came over and ask me if she could speak to the person I was talking to. I don’t know what she said but she gave me my phone back and said that they would be canceling the order shortly and I would be getting a refund in the next few days. If I didn’t to let her know and she would make sure I did. She told me to get in line and I could place my order again. While I was in line I got a message saying my order was canceled and I got a full refund. While I was in line I watched Hannah and her other employees and she took such great care of every single customer with great care. She was so sweet and kind to each person. She took the time to make sure they were getting first class service. Her employees were wonderful as well. They were very nice and friendly and helpful. They were all working as a team helping each other while making sure that the customers were getting what they wanted in a timely manner. They were talking with their customers and joking around with some of the customers. It was very busy while I was in there but they didn’t seem to get frustrated at all and handled everything very well. I am so grateful to Hannah who helped me out with my situation. This happened on Friday, September 25, 2025 around 12.30pm. This team of employees need to be recognized for their awesome service and hard work. Hannah is a great manager who takes very good care of the customer because she genuinely cared about my situation and she got it fixed quickly. Thanks for taking the time to help me out. I will always stay loyal to this store because of its customer service and it is always clean. If you ever see anything wrong or the bathroom needs attention you just let them know and they are on top of it. I hope their boss knows just what a great group of employees they have working there. Read moreWhile usually a pleasant place to grab a quick bite after music lessons, I was confronted by the new district manager, Matt, after having placed my usual order of a footlong meatball sub placed into a bowl instead of on bread. While I realize that this is an unusual request, the staff there have typically had no issues placing the makings of the sub into a bowl for me. To order a salad is 2$ more, and I find the extra veg superfluous and not what I'm looking for. While ordering my usual, I am very loudly and rudely confronted by this employee about how it simply cannot be rung up in the system as anything other than a salad. In front of my family, the employees he claims to be training, and other customers, this man continues to argue and berate to me such a degree that my husband has to raise his voice so that I might get a word in edgewise. No matter how many times I repeat that I simply want the innards of the sub placed into a bowl, he repeatedly forcefully states that he's never receieved and order such as this before and that salad bowls are considerably more expensive than bread. He does eventually ring it in as a footlong meatball sub, with the promise that I'll never be welcome to order this again. Customer service was most certainly not upheld this day. Subway corporate has been contacted with the details of this encounter, and I encourage you, if met with this man's short temper, stick to your guns and report him. I remain shaken, and in shock by this encounter over a breadless sub in a bowl....

Got there after ordering online had to make my own drink and grab my own bag of chips. I was told that's how all to go orders are. I'm a chef and have never thought if I ordered a to go order id have to grab my own chips and drink. Mc ds and Bojangles and Burger King doesn't do that I don't have to park my car after going through a drive through just to get out make my own drink and grab my fries. Why bother with to-goes? Do you do you do the same for delivery drivers? Footlong buffalo was made right but wasn't toasted. I asked for extra veggies they left out onions banana peppers and oregano it said ALL VEGGIES + s&p and oregano. Buffalo chicken is either supposed to be toasted or put in a microwave or toasted on the sandwich itself. They just put cold meat on my sandwich and called it a day.
They were not busy it was an easy ticket, and they literally have one job and that is to make sandwiches. It's even easier if you have the ticket in front of you with directions written on it. No excuses. Just plain laziness. Don't order for dinner this place is great for lunch and breakfast no complaints but there is something wrong with the dinner staff.
