Mixed review here. Parking can be tricky to find if the place is busy. Small lot can fill up quickly. Order at the counter, pay and seat yourself at a table with a tabletop marker. Food is brought to your table. Condiments and napkins are at the counter. A carafe of water and glasses for the table were provided at the time of order. Seating is as mix of large booths and brightly colored metal tables and chairs. Our table was uneven and kept rocking up and down.

The restaurant also doubles as a beer and wine store with a unique variety of options.

Food came out quickly. The pork belly banh mi was good, the bun was fluffy and the pork belly was flavorful. The gaucho steak plate was a little disappointing. The steak was medium rare and decent on it's own but I was looking forward to the chimichurri sauce to enhance it even more. What I received was an overcooked sauce that didn't resemble any chimichurri I'd ever tasted. I couldn't even distinguish any herbs. I'm hesitant to give it a terrible rating because I know this is a fusion restaurant and can intentionally deviate from the traditional plates. Just know that it's quite the twist. The rice and beans was also not what I expected, the rice being a brown, mealy rice that had little flavor despite the scallions, black beans and cheese. Just a bowl of blah.

My mother ordered shrimp pad thai. The noodles were crunchy in places and seemed undercooked. She sent it back and the second time they came out, complained that they were too chewy and the over-easy egg was completely overcooked. She ate the shrimp and left the rest at the table. Staff was accommodating in trying to rectify the issue but it just wasnt salvageable...

4.5 stars: A casual restaurant where you can sit anywhere and order at the counter, though they do also take reservations. The dishes are a unique and creative take on Latin American-Asian fusion, and the portion sizes are big and worth the price.

For appetizers, we tried: Duck Quesadilla: A really unique dish packed with bursting flavors and unique textures. The duck was cooked tenderly and seasoned nicely; it paired well with the warm cheese and other traditional quesedilla ingredients.

Pork Belly Bao Buns: You get a choice of protein here, but the staff noted that pork belly is by far their most popular one. This app fell a little short of my expectations, but it was still quite good. The pork was cooked well— very tender and generously sauced. The bun was soft. It was a bit hard to consume while retaining shape and not falling apart.

For the entree, I ordered the Duck Ramen, which was really fantastic! The price seemed a little steep initially, but for the amount of food provided, it’s more than fair. This was a hefty bowl packed with many unique and eclectic ingredients including a fried boiled egg (super unique and delicious), veggies, kimchi, various cuts of duck, etc. The duck was tender and flavorful, the broth was rich and bold, and the noodles were not overcooked. Really nothing to complain about here; by the end, I was really struggling to finish because it was truly a lot of food!

The food came out at a reasonable speed and the staff were friendly. The spot is also easy to find and has a free...

My friend and I heard rave reviews about this restaurant, so we decided to give it a try. I got there a few minutes beforehand, so I decided to get a booth and wait. I walked in and stood by the door to be seated, but figured that I could seat myself after standing there a few minutes, since it seemed like a casual restaurant. I sat down and waited for someone to come offer a drink or appetizer, something…. nobody came. Finally after a few minutes, I flagged down the person behind the bar and gestured for them to bring water for two. The waitress finally came over looking flustered and unkempt with a bottle of water and two glasses. With no pleasantries uttered, she sat down the items and walked off. Now, mind you, we all have our days, but you expect a certain type of behavior from waitstaff… My friend finally came in and after 5 minutes, they brought menus. Now, let me add that we did all of our communicating by “sign language” to the person behind the bar. We looked over the menus and sat them down, which is the universal indication that we’re ready to order…. The waitress never came. There was a large group of 10 a few tables over so she waited on them several times while we sat in stunned silence. She never even made eye contact. Finally after 10 minutes or so of unprofessional rudeness, we left to go to another restaurant. I am utterly disappointed and disgusted by my experience. And I will never recommend this restaurant nor darken their...
