EGY Dough — Restaurant in North Charleston

We saw someone recommend this place online and wow, it was such a great find!!! We ordered three pies: two savory and one dessert along with a couple of their house-made drinks. The savory pies were a super tasty mushroom pie and a cheesy, gooey three-cheese pie. For dessert, we went with the lotus pistachio pie, and let me tell you, it was absolutely dreamy. We also received a complimentary pudding. :-) The drinks were just as amazing! We had the banana milk and the lemon mint drink, both made fresh right there. The sweetest guy who took our order made them and we literally watched him pick the mint and whip it all together with fresh, whole ingredients. Such a cool touch, it really made the experience feel extra special! The portions were perfectly sized. My sister and I shared the three pies and still had leftovers to take home. Everything came out hot, fresh, and super fast. Oh, and watching the chef hand-make our pies was so fun. It felt like dinner and a show! Everyone was so nice and welcoming. The gentleman who rang us up even stopped to chat with us and told us the whole restaurant was inspired by the chef’s vision, which made the whole experience feel even more personal.

A neighborhood gem! If you haven't been to try this place, please treat yourself.

I just tried EDY Dough for the first time. I ordered the beef shawarma pizza and WOW - I will be returning! I'm kicking myself for not stopping in on my way home before now.

The dough came out crisp with a little chew and the toppings were incredibly fresh and flavorful. It's still pizza, but LIGHT. I didn't get that weighed down feeling after a couple of slices. Nice, especially when it's so hot outside.

I waited in store while my pizza was being prepared and had time to look around. Everything was immaculately clean, organized, and inviting. Several people came in for pickups while I waiting, too. Despite it being empty, this place was seeing orders go out the door. One of the gentleman that was working this evening suggest I try one of their pies next. Given the quality, efficiency, friendly service, clean environment and great price point, I will be certainly be visiting again.

I would also like to add that in an area that is starving for more meaningful diversity in its food scene - this place fills a void.
