First time in since they opened a few weeks ago. The cashier, who I assume was part of management/ownership, was super friendly and had a good rapport going on with the folks ordering or waiting on their orders. It’s a small operation, and I could tell the people working took a lot of pride in what they do. There is nowhere to sit and eat, so be aware of that when heading over. The space is neatly curated and filled with snacks, drinks, and some merchandise. Breakfast is served until 11am.
I ordered the Taylor ham, egg, and cheese sandwich. I’ve always loved a Taylor ham sandwich for breakfast, but usually have to drive a good distance to Mt Pleasant to get one. I ordered it All The Way (salt, pepper, and ketchup) but requested light ketchup. Took it home and opened it up. I was surprised to find out it is a massive double decker sandwich with two eggs, tons of layered Taylor ham, and plenty of melted cheese that coated every square inch of bun, ham, and egg. The bun was soft and delicious as well. The sandwich was under $9 and was enough to feed two. It will be a sandwich I’ll keep coming back to.
Their lunch/dinner options for smash burgers, hot sandwiches, and cold cuts were plentiful. Will have to come back and try them out.
So glad to have them in the neighborhood as a brick and mortar restaurant. Wishing them good luck, because I’ll be sad if deep West Ashley ever...
Read moreStopped in to try out what's good. Walked away with zero regrets. Met Jeremiah, who recommended I try The Market Special. It involved some breaded chicken, fresh sliced mozzarella, pesto, purple onion, sweet balsamic drizzle, arugula, some other tasty things and Oh my LORT. Jeremiah, what are you doing to me?
Husband and kiddo got the cheeseburgers and seasoned fries. You woulda thought my husband done returned to childhood with all the nostalgia flooding his senses from that first bite. That alone was worth everything. Thank you for this experience. 20/10 recommend. Will definitely be back for that brekfassy type situation now that we know brekkies is done...
Read moreBe patient with the line since its good food, new, and really popular. Friendly greeting as you walk in and up front about their being a wait or when breakfast ends. Also got lots of snacks to choose from if you prefer. Price label is based off of getting a side and a drink, otherwise it’s $10-$20 per person. Some seating for waiting inside and outside, I ate my lunch in my car. Place is right off the highway so not hard to miss; you’ll see the food truck out front. Menu will change as they get settled in, but the current...
