This place has the same exact name as the older owners from about three or four years ago that had a completely different recipe they were I believe of Korean descent, and were born and raised in Louisiana, and they expressed their creole lifestyle within their recipe. I would not recommend anyone who who has been there 3 to 4 years ago to go go back back the new management Has a very oily thick lard/vegetable oil like “butter“, I asked them to make it over three times and was promised it would be to perfection and into my liking and none of the times was it what I paid almost $40 for. The seafood had no seasoning And no flavor and the bag was overloaded with whatever large/vegetable oil mixture they use. This is completely different from the previous owners and was a very high disappointment upon acknowledging the change in management and letting the new management know I wanted a full refund and was not happy about what I received even after being remade three times. I was told I would get a full refund for what I paid for. I was asked to try The seafood boil each time of three times after it was remade to try and agree with my taste buds, however, after only eating two pieces of shrimp and two crawfish out of the boil, and still not being satisfied, I was told I would receive a full refund and a pun getting refunded to my bank account. I realize that I was only refunded a partial amount of the full price I paid Once contacting the establishment the manager who promised me a full refund of what I paid for expressed that since there was four pieces of seafood eaten out of the bag that I would not be receiving a full refund and after I expressed, I was not comfortable with that determination I was put on hold And then told that I would be needing to give them a chance to call me back, I asked if they needed My Number to contact me back and they told me no and...

I CANNOT get enough of this place! Owners treat us like a family and I've never had a bad meal there! I have, however, over ate too many times to count! Changed my review to 2 stars because the new owners changed the seafood boil recipe :(. The new recipe is very salty and oily. The new recipe lacks the old flavor and spice. Like I said, the butter was very red and overall very salty and the quality of the crab went down hill. The new crab was smaller, the shell was very bendy, and overall it had less meat. The shrimp was also smaller and very rubbery. Instead of smaller wheels of corn, they just gave us one smallish piece. I wish I took a picture so you guys could see the layer of oil it had, which it never used to have. The color was off too. The posted picture is the old spicy recipe. They also changed the hush puppy recipe, instead of it having a fried tempora like coating, it now has the generic crunchy bread crumb outside that most places serve. This is such a shame, I used to go weekly until I moved. Then it became a special treat, but now I wont be going back. I'm sure the other food is fine, but its a shame that they changed the crab boil recipe. I sadly will not...
Read moreWalking in for the first time, you might think, "maybe I have the wrong place?" But no, you're absolutely in the right place! We had some pretty incredible boils -- perfectly cooked and abundant platters, all super flavorful. The Seafood Pot and Seafood Madness low country boils are what we've pictured here and we will absolutely be back to get this again! The "Regular Butter" option still had a kick of spice that was a tasty level without overpowering the Seafood.
We weren't fans of the gumbo, but the grits were great!
Some members of our group had the fried chicken wing and shrimp and fries, and they said it was super good. The rest of us stuck with the low country boils!
The people who work there were SO friendly and sweet. Always checking in on us and being reassuring and wonderful the whole time. They brought plenty of napkins and were super kind and thoughtful. We will...
