The three person staff at the customer service counter was eating McDonald's at their pizza restaurant when I walked in. That did not make a great impression or say anything good about the food they offered at their restaurant. Staff eating should always take place in a back room/break room. Not out front at the counter where customers are served. Why does this have to be explained to people? In between bites and sips of their McDonald's I was offered some of their McDonald's french fries 🤮 And they took my order.
The irony is I found the staff to be personable and pleasant. It's just that they were either eating McDonald's or they were on their mobile phones the entire time I was in the building. They have rewritten the rules on acceptable customer service. I don't think they were successful with this rewrite. As far as the food, I ordered a medium pizza that was just okay. Nothing here was completely off-putting but there was definitely nothing compelling enough to make for a...
Read moreI have been supporting this place ever since it opened in NCH, the food has always been excellent but lately the service is just horrible, the last time I went I ordered the deluxe 7 like I always do, 15 minutes later the server came to the table and keep in mind this is 5:30 on a Saturday night and says were out of hamburger for my friends pizza box nacho's so she ordered the fish hoagie, 5 minutes later here comes my pizza, I asked about the hoagie and she said the kitchen is working on it, I didn't want to eat without the other meal, 25 minutes later the hoagie comes out, NO EXCUSE! She didn't even apologize but just got defensive about how busy the kitchen is, and they were not that busy. I understand if they're lined out the door but that was hardly the case. They need to do something about their service because they just lost this long time customer. I don't care how good the food is because if the service is bad there's plenty of other places to...
Read moreWe stopped in for lunch at Krimmer’s Italianette Pizzeria after a bit of real estate work in the area—and it was absolutely fantastic. The whole experience hit the spot.
We started with tossed salads, and they were exactly what you hope for: crisp, cold, super fresh, and loaded with cheese and dressing. A great start.
For the main event, we each had calzones. Mine was stuffed with green olives, banana peppers, and pepperoni—perfectly baked and packed with flavor. Hers had extra cheese instead of pepperoni, and she loved it just as much. You could really taste the quality of the ingredients and care in preparation.
Our server was warm, friendly, and helpful with suggestions, which added to the overall great vibe. We also overheard some regulars raving about the pasta, so we’ll definitely be back to try that next time.
If you’re in the North College Hill area, Krimmer’s is a solid, satisfying stop for a delicious Italian meal....
