This place has gone downhill fast. Not sure what happened. New owner? New management? That information used to be on the front door but it has been scraped off and is just blank. They have taken down all the photos and trophy’s from the athlete of the month so it’s just empty and sad. They no longer offer iced tea and the lemonade was out. I walked into where you USED to place your order. The guy sitting there, on his phone, never even looked up at me. Two other workers leaning against the food counter just watched me. Finally one said “ you can order down here “ I walked down to the other end of the counter and said “Can I please get a…” to which he abruptly cut me off and just said “name” I apologized and gave him my name. Then waited. He never told me to place my order so I just started talking again. There was no more communication. Not a thank you. Not it will be ready in a minute. Nothing. I saw 5 workers up front and only the guy cooking was working. They were literally all standing there doing nothing the entire time. When mine was finally done, the guy barked my name and when I walked up he just handed it to me. Again, nothing. I said thank you and he just walked off. The restaurant was dirty. The drink station was dirty. I can’t even imagine the bathrooms. If I had been planning on eating in, I would have left. And yet, they are paying people to just stand there. Penn Station is not a cheap food option. And while it’s delicious, I won’t be going back to the College Hill...
Read morePLEASE CHECK YOUR ORDER BEFORE YOU LEAVE. Although I am a fan of the Philly cheese steak sandwich, the service and their policy on making an order that was not correct right is not good. They assume to keep your money. Unless you can bring back the sandwich. Which I would have been happy to do, but it was late, right before they closed when I ordered. I tried calling the store the next day at different times. Either the live was busy or it would ring until it completely stopped. I called again today in which I reached the manager. He was very nice. He said I was in luck because the owner was there. He placed the owner on line, of course he did not give his name. He asked if I had called before today, I said yes because your phone system was busy r no one answered. Right before you answered the phone was busy. He said can you bring back the sandwiches!!? Who would keep the disgusting sandwiches. A Philly cheese steak with mayo was ordered. We get the sandwiches home n they put mayo n pizza sauce. I even have him the ticket number. Unfortunately the owner made light of it. Poor customer service. Poor connection to make your customers happy. Even a discount would have been great. Nothing!!! I can see why their Overall...
Read morePlaced an online order, got there and they said it wasn’t in the system. I gave them my confirmation order and asked if my food could either be remade or if I could get my money back since it already charged me online. The general manager, Robert Lee, decided to yell in my face saying it was my fault and they couldn’t refund me or give me the food that I already paid for. When I mentioned the person in front of me also is having issues and it is most likely their system that was the issue, Robert yelled at me saying that “I’m not talking to her right now, I’m talking to you.” Repetitively in my face. When she tried to ask him a question he yelled at her to “stop talking over me, I’m not talking to you right now.” The yelling continue until I pulled my phone out to start recording his behavior and his attitude changed real fast. All I wanted was an answer on how we can resolve this issue and all he wanted to do was yell in my face. The other workers were nice but Robert Lee should not be in customer service with the way he raised his voice at me and other customers. It’s quite embarrassing that the customers and I were way more respectful than the...
