I've been buying subs from this location since 1979. The new owners took over recently and they were having a little adjustment troubles there at first. Now that the dust has all settled, I'm afraid I cannot give them a very good review. My most recent order was a very expensive chicken, bacon, ranch pizza. It was probably one of the worst pizzas I've ever had. The chicken was overwhelmingly freezer burnt, really bad, and it was so dry there was simply no fun in it at all. I dont eat much junk food but when I do I prefer to enjoy it, unfortunately, that's not going to happen with this pizza. Two different times before that, (I always give the benefit of the doubt...maybe it was a bad day..maybe just a fluke, so I try more than a few times,) the subs were a bit expensive for what you get. Chicken parm sub was pretty bad. The pizza sub was dry and very little ingredients for the price, and finally, a medium heat chicken wing order had absolutely no sauce on it at all. I dont like to give bad reviews but this time it's well deserved. PS: the ranch dressing...
Read moreI so wanted to give this a full 5 star review, but after three tries and a fail each time, I just couldn't do it. I'm hoping that it's early opening jitters and they'll work out the kinks. We ordered the Coney dogs. Buns are too big for the size of the dog and were very dry and the sauce was cold. Ordered regular hot dogs the second time (who can screw up a Smiths hot dog, right?). I asked for the buns to be toasted hoping to avoid the same problem as before. Nope, they weren't toasted and were even drier than the first time. We couldn't t even eat the bun, we pulled the dogs out and ate them plain. If we weren't already at our destination, I would have taken them back. Third time, we ordered the veggie pizza. It was MEH. Maybe just our taste preferences, but the crust was good. So all in all, I'll try a couple more times and hope that they start getting it right. With such simple things going bad, we've been afraid to try anything more complicated. I strive to support...
