This review was written in response to a one-star review recently posted by Bob Malone after visiting the restaurant three times over the past year and a half but never having dinner! Hi Bob- I recently read your Google review of Giuseppe Restaurant. I rarely write or respond to reviews, but yours was so bizarre I had to communicate. I see that you've taken it down, but hiding from the public isn't so easy anymore! So, you write a restaurant review after trying to have dinner there for the THIRD time with no luck. Did it ever occur to you, after your first two attempts, to call for a reservation - the bar is reserved seating only? Your LinkedIn credentials would indicate that you are a reasonably intelligent person. Yet, you don't like the bar policy, don't like the signs, don't like the atmosphere, and don't like the owners or the help - why go for a THIRD time? And, you follow your hissy fit about being denied bar seats with disparaging personal comments about an incredibly hard-working young woman you don't know, who has the responsibility of managing this very busy restaurant while having to deal with entitled idiots like you every day. Most amazing are the words from your website describing your health care business and your Christian outlook and mission, " We welcome and unite those who agree with our core biblical principles and Statement of Beliefs relating to life, health, and caring for others". Christian??? You should be ashamed, Bob. You owe an apology to Jackie, and all of the patrons who were subjected to your vulgar insults. Unfortunately for you, there is no finer Italian cuisine anywhere in the area than that offered by Master Chef Giuseppe Stiano, and no better bar and restaurant service than that managed by Jackie Staino. ZERO STARS I suggest you pass on this local strip mall dive. The three times we have tried to try it, we immediately felt uncomfortable and unwelcomed by the host (Chubby girl plays host and bartender). Once we entered the restaurant, despite the tacky handwritten signs on the front 2 doors, we once again decided to leave after the host was annoyed that we asked to just sit at the bar for dinner. Possibly we interrupted her 6pm feeding time which may have meant she had to actually get off her chair, stop eating and actually do her job to host us. She did not attempt accommodate us and took her sweet time getting to us. Needless to say, we left again the third time similar experience over a year and a half. She seems to be looking for fight with the customers, so Ill suggest that maybe she should go to the military recruitment office next door and enlist. We attempted to try this place because (despite our neighbors warning that food sucks and service is worse) it was local, and we have never actually eaten there. Did I mention each time we attempted to dine there; the entire place has been EMPTY. Our last and final attempt was last night (Wednesday) at 610Pm, there was not one person in the entire restaurant or bar and she still seemed annoyed and bothered so why don't we all do her a favor and spread the word on how terrible she is with hopes that reviews like this assist in helping her move on once they are closed down. DO NOT EAT AT THIS RESTAURANT!

I have never left a review of any kind but owing to my experience this past Saturday evening was obliged to post this scathing review. I have eaten at this restaurant before and have always found it average (at best), but it was my mothers birthday and could not find another option when my party size increased at the last moment so decided to give it another chance.

There is a reason there were reservations available for a party of 10 just 2 days before. The bartender (whom I later learned was also the ‘manager’) was the most aggressive and rudest person I have ever encountered in a service role. She yelled at multiple members of our party within 15 minutes of arrival while we were waiting for our table, and when I tried to diffuse the situation she jumped at me and threatened me that she would ‘take care of things’.

As I walked away, the bartender ran around into the restaurant and continued to scream and wave her arms around while breading my wife and sister. When confronted, the owner sided with the bartender and refused to acknowledge our request to watch the camera footage and provide appropriate response.

The rest of the negative reviews on Google are certainly valid based on my experience, and as local resident I would strongly advise anyone against wasting their time and money at such a below-average and hostile...
