Ny Bagels Cafe — Restaurant in North Haledon

I have been ordering from here for over 15 years and the quality of the food is always good, delicious, and fresh. The customer service is A1, I’m always greeted in a friendly manner and my experience is always pleasant. I am very picky about my food, and I am always catered to with no problems. They always know it’s Yolanda by the way I order my food. It’s always a pleasure no matter what time of the day I order. The menu has increased considerably and the quality has remained top notch. I honestly want to like it, since they are right on my way to work, but every time I go there I'm left disappointed. I order ahead, all the workers act like I skipped the line and usually ignore me, as I stand there awkwardly. They are right next door to fresh grocer and the bread is usually stale. It's too expensive to get a sandwich you barely want to eat. I'm literally trying to force myself to eat it right now because it's breakfast and lunch for me at my desk. It's a great place, great prices, quality food , good service !! My only problem is it's supposed to open 5 a.m. ! The blinking red sign says open! the times on the door say opens 5 a.m. ! but, I don't know why when you get there it's dark inside, the person cooking Bagels does not answer the door until the girl gets there, that could be 5:15,5:20 who knows when. they should be clear on what time it actually opens ! people going to work early need a place that opens at 5 like they used to !
