Spinachio Pizza — Restaurant in North Haledon

I normally leave reviews if I’m very impressed or very unimpressed. Spinachio definitely impressed me tonight. After searching google maps for a pizza place to pick up a pie from I saved several shops to my own custom list. Then I stumbled on Spinachio. Yes it had high ratings like other pizza shops but from the pictures stood out a bit more than some of the other shops.

It looked very clean, new and the food looked very appetizing. I read several reviews and customer service, cleanliness and great tasting food were the highlights.

I figured a good measuring stick to test how good a pizza shop it was is to get a half plain half pepperoni pie. Classics. I called it in for pickup and was greeted warmly I placed my order and went to pickup. I walked in it was clean and bright. It was around 8:30pm and they were about to close. My pie came out about 5 mins of waiting. It was pipping hot. I got in my car and I had to see it and have a bite. It was sooooooo delicious. Sauce was just right. Cheese had that “cheese pull”. Crust was nice and crispy. Pepperoni was the cup pepperoni. Smaller circles but thick on the bite. You really taste it! There was nothing I could complain about! I will be back. I like to jump on my motorcycle, get lost and find new places to visit. On my recent outing I found this hidden gem and was extremely impressed by their service and then their food. Upon entry, I didn’t think anything of the quaint place, because I’m not a fan of spinach, but am of pizza. I ordered two spinach slices to go for my fiancé and then asked if they had anything else no one else had. That’s when Zana told me about the Burroni, it piqued my interest and agreed to try a personal pie. Man, was I surprised. It tastes absolutely amazing! My taste buds were screaming for more and I couldn’t stop eating it. It’s hands down one of the most original pizzas I’ve ever had and can’t wait to go back with my fiancé who loved her slices. They must have gotten a new cook because pizza was delicious all these years but I ordered on 6/13/24 and it was horrible. The crust was so thin and hard that I was only able to eat half the slice because the crust was so hard it would've broke a tooth. Through it to the birds they didn't eat it 3 days later it's still in my yard. I also ordered French Fries and they only filled it quarter or less then that of the container.
