One of my three favorite places for breakfast. Never had greasy eggs or omelettes there. And my eggs whether over easy or poached are always perfect. Eggs, vegetables, and meats are also always fresh. The staff is so friendly and attentive. The service is also prompt but never rushed. Please tip the waitstaff well; they deserve it.The corn muffins and link sausages are my particular favorites, and it is so nice to eat large, homemade homefries rather than those tiny...often over-seasoned ...homefries so many other breakfast venues serve. I highly recommend the Venetian omelette. The creamy Boursin cheese puts the dish in the scrumptuous range, but I do substitute fresh asparagus for the artichokes. If you have never eaten at Betty's do so soon. My only suggestion is a brighter coat of paint and a freshening of decor. A bit gloomy at present. Also it is time to put salt and pepper shakers, condiments and jams, and unbagged utensils back...
Read moreMy boyfriend and I, along with my 8-year-old daughter, stumbled upon this unassuming diner on our way home to MA. We came to NH yesterday to take her to Water Country and then spent the night at a hotel. We were both hoping to find a diner on our way back to MA for breakfast. This place is a hidden gem! (Probably not for the locals of course) Everything from the service to the quality of the food was top notch! We were extremely pleasantly surprised. The home fries were actually real and done properly, crispy on the outside, soft on the inside and seasoned nicely. My omelette was so delicious and you could tell the ingredients were fresh. My daughter got one pancake and it was massive and super fluffy. My boyfriend also enjoyed what he got and said that if there was a place like that near his work he would be there every morning LOL. If I were ever in the area again I would...
Read moreOver the years our family has dined at Betty's Kitchen. We had not been able to get there in a while, so my family was excited to go today. We ate breakfast and it was great- just like every time we eat at Betty's. This time was different....The 4 of us sat at the counter -the wait was long for a table. From the right hand counter seats we could see all the action in the kitchen. You would not believe the hustle from the staff on a busy Labor Day Monday! From a very small kitchen....this staff delivered the goods!--dish after dish trying to match demand. We where served about 30 minutes after sitting at the counter. Betty's may not be perfect all the time for everyone BUT for me and my family they are worth waiting for!! Thank you for the great breakfast on LABOR DAY!...I hope you guys at least had had...
