Taqueria El Tizon Grill — Restaurant in North Las Vegas

Checked this place out with some of my coworkers. I love street tacos bot not corn tortillas, so I always request flour tortillas instead. This has never been an issue in any other establishment, but not here 🙄. I was stuck with the corn tortillas. For that I had to take off a star.

I had the al pastor tacos. The portions are plentiful, but unfortunately the pork was very dry. The spicy red salsa did help a bit, but still not great.

One of my coworkers had the carne asada fries, and it was huge! He said it was pretty good.

Another coworker had the sopes and her only complaint was that the portions were so big she wished she'd just ordered one or two instead of the three she had gotten.

There are only about seven tables, so this would not be good for large groups.

I recommend this place and may return to try their other offerings. I hear their nachos are...

The quesadillas tacos is not a quesadilla it’s a taco with cheese on top of it. The birria is a bit salty. The gave me salsa red and green lime slices and onion and cilantro to put on top of my tacos. I also had cabeza taco it was well cooked and had flavor. On yellow corn tortillas, my cabeza taco came with two tortillas. And my carne asada taco came with one, grilled meat medium well.
