I had been here once before a few months back. I don't remember much about that experience, it obviously wasn't memorable. The only thing I do recall was that it was dark, loud and I felt crowded in. This time it didn't seem as dark and while busy I did not feel like everyone was on top of me. Being that I was jus there the other day I do remember the pizza we got. It was really good. Got the Chicago style and the crust was fantastic, I was never more excited about leftovers. We had wonderful service. My issue here and the reason for the lower score was the Trivia night. We had come for the Bball game but were surprised when we got there and found trivia was also happening. After sitting we asked the young girl walking around keeping score about getting in on the game. Trivia had started, they were just asking the last question of the first round. She got very confused by our request, flipped the pages of her clipboard a few times, looked around and then told us, "You can still play for fun, its already started so you're not going to be able to win." This was absolutely ridiculous! I have come in on trivia in other places much later than this and been allowed to participate. Yes I had the dry erase board and could have written my answer down, but what's the point if not having a score recorded...Even if I did loose. Not wanting to make anything out if it, I let it go. BUT there was SO MUCH MORE TRIVIA to be played and sitting alone we did share the answers with each other and got most of them correct. It became our running joke with each round about how much trivia was left to be played. The trivia host was also more obnoxious than necessary, the wording of his questions made no sense many times and when he yelled into his blowhorn pointing in your direction or directly over your head, it caused you to jump and put a ringing in your ear with how loud it was. The most shocking thing came at the end of the trivia when a random woman came up and asked for a tip to give the young girl keeping score. Seriously? Even if we had been allowed to play I have never been asked to tip the trivia host. When we said no the woman gave us a disgusted look, prompting us to tell her that she told us we were too late to play, which I guess satisfied her because she said, 'oh' and walked on. While I would return to experience the pizza and drinks I will be very certain it is not on...
Read moreThis was an awful experience. My bookclub members and I met here. Just 3 of 8 of us. We requested the party room. The room outside of the party area was empty. We pay for the jukebox to play a few tunes order drinks and get a game of pool started while we wait for the rest of of guests. They get there we order our food and a group of 8 come and sit at the table outside of the room we are in. They give us so many dirty looks that one of the members tells our hostess. She assures us she will take care of it. The group continues to silently fume at us through the window. While we try to queue up another song one of the guests from the other party Bluetooth connects to the jukebox and plays some music. Then they smirk at us. We tell the hostess that we want to speak with the manager. The manager comes in the party room and walks back out. Then returns and asks if we wanted her. I tell her the issue and she says that the guests are complaining that we turned the jukebox too loud we didnât even know we could adjust the volume! We decide to leave cancel our orders and ask for the check. One of my guests goes to the other party as a last resort to see if we could just stay in peace. The manager rushes to us and says I canât have you harassing my guests. We pay and leave. Manager follows us outside and tries to take pictures of our license plates. My party was mostly Black. The other party was white. You do the math. Will never return. You want fun?...
Read moreGiving it two stars because my MIL loved her meal. We took his mother out for her birthday dinner in early August and she said she wanted Cajun but wanted to make sure I can eat there being gluten free. And not by choice. We found a restaurant that claimed to have gluten free pizza for $2 extra and we showed her the menu and she agreed that place looks good. The waitress has no idea what Iâm talking about. Goes back to the kitchen multiple times when I had questions about the size of the gf crust and told me âwe donât have that hereâ I show her the printed menu she goes back again and says âthese menus are old. We no longer have gf crustâ I was like oh. I wish youâd have updated the online page as well. She said they can make me gf breaded meat I said no. Iâll get the burger. Can you make me fries in oil not shared by other stuff or do you a fryer for just fries? She said. âWe use the same fryer for everything.â But let me check we do have a small fryer for people like you. Let me go check. She said something along the lines of itâs broken or not there idk. I tell her ok. Iâll take just the burger and a small salad IF I wonât be charged for it. Otherwise. Just the burger. She said. âI got youâ. We got charged for the salad and the burger tasted like a great value frozen patty. My mil loved her meal. My man said his was ok. But he doesnât want to ever come back here. I said Iâm...
