This place was baaadd. Straight awful. It’s like an overpriced Taco Bell. I spent $30 on fast food that is supposedly quality but really is a concoction of cheap ingredients and drowned in sauces and nasty cheese that legit tastes like medicine. Idk what the apple & kale side was sauced with but it tasted and smelled like bleach. I’m not even kidding. I smelled it and was like wow this smells like bleach, and then I ate a few spoons and tried to like it but it I mistakenly tasted like bleach. Like what the actual frick....!! The jalapeño corn size was also terrible and clearly had this gross artificial spicy flavor tasting nothing at all like jalapeños, and the corn was soggy and shriveled. The quesadilla was inedible (in my opinion) and we did not eat more than one piece. Drowned in this nasty medicine-tasting cheese and all ingredients came together into this nasty goo..... the Baja Chicken wrap barely passes as decent and the ingredients sounded promising, but the tortilla itself tastes bad and cheap and though I always love marinated onions, whatever this was, was not marinated onion. Idk what chemicals they marinated it in but it was this thing shriveled onion in some potent acid, that made your whole wrap taste like this sour acid. The smoothies were also sub par with one lacking flavor and tasting watered down, and the other (açaí) tasting well... actually quite good but I’m sure it’s made from syrup and shortcuts and not from real fruit. Read moreBefore Zack was promoted to district manager, I went to this location every morning before going to work. I’ve spent over $500 on just this location. I have made it through all the levels that the Tropical Smoothie App offers and I absolutely loved coming here. After Zack left, I noticed an immediate change in the food and service. It really disturbed me that I no longer was greeted when I entered the building, and when deciding on what I wanted to eat at the establishment I would receive snarky comments such as “She comes here all the time and still doesn’t know what to order”. I was very baffled by the fact that an employee at Tropical Smoothie has such disrespectful manners. No customers should have to endure such disrespect. Also, last week I went to Tropical Smoothie on Monday as well as Tuesday and I had to go back to the establishment each time to have them remake my food, because it was wrong. Each time they took more than fifteen minutes to make a simple sandwich while there were no customers. On the second night the employees decided to clean and take out the trash before even thinking twice about making my food. I will definitely not be coming back here until the service...
Read moreOne person in line ahead of us when we arrived. Food came out quickly, but it took 20 minutes on the smoothies. We were practically finished eating by then. When I let the manager know that they took 20 minutes, she didn't even look at me, but the young lady making smoothies immediately started popping off at the mouth. She said that she had to make all of the smoothies for the drive thru, to which I informed her that the people in the drive thru get their smoothies WITH their sandwiches. She yelled that she was the only person making smoothies & I assured her that it was not my problem. She continued to yell, I walked away, manager never said anything. The manager needs to learn how to manage. I understand the employee's frustration, as the manager set her up for failure, but don't yell at the customer who has sat in a hot, fly infested restaurant for 20 minutes waiting on their beverages.
EDIT: After the response below and talking taking the survey on their page, they sent me a six dollar gift card. Seriously? Six? That's insulting. I'll never set foot back in that...
