Caribbean Zone — Restaurant in North Miami

If I can give this place zero stars I would give it zero stars. Number one they forgot my pikiles Number two they gave a pound of spinach with one piece of meat hidden underneath. Number three I did not get the white rice I got brown rice and beans. When I decided to call the restaurant they told me I should’ve been more specific but unfortunately on DoorDash it gives you two options either you want white Rice, or you want rice and beans I specifically clicked on white rice I also paid extra to get Pikilies upon calling the restaurant one of the most rudest individuals that I have ever met in my life answered the phone she got so offended when I questioned her and she said I should have not been that stupid and been more explanatory I did not think that I had to explain myself when I’m putting a DoorDash order. To top it off she was talking to multiple other people and I did not know if she was trying to speak to me in Creole. And I told her I do not speak Creole that’s when she proceeded to say I speak foreign languages pick one which one do you want me to speak for you. She proceeded to hang up the phone I have been trying to contact the restaurant no one has been answering the most hideous customer service one of the most worst tasting foods ever I would not even feed this to the homeless because the homeless will slap you in your face with the food. I’m not sure how this restaurant is...

This place is more like a bar/restaurant. If yall know me, I love to try new places and support small businesses. But when we arrived, all types of red flags! Despite that, we still gave ot the benefit of the doubt. The teenager who greeted us really didn't know how to handle guests. The music playing was super load that you had to scream what we were ordering. Plus, half of the menu items weren't available. The boy had to call the cook and then pass me the ph so I could speak to her. When the cook finally made it back to the restaurant after going shopping for a few items that were needed. She finally came out and took our order! This whole time, the music played as if we were in a club. I get it. You love music, but tone...

We ordered through Grubhub. We had never had Haitian food before but my husband wanted oxtails so we decided to try it. The first thing we noticed when the food arrived was an unusual odor, like boiled cabbage. When we opened the containers, we realized the odor was coming from the rice and beans. It tasted just as bad as it smelled. We are not picky eaters. We'll eat anything but this was downright nasty. Everything else was really good. The oxtails were tender and tasty and the fried pork chunks and the plaintains were good. We don't think we'll order from them again any time...
