I've put up with this location for over a decade, but I've had enough. The issues range from undercooked pizza, cold pizza, constant mistakes, to 2-hour long deliveries after the pizza was cooked (yes, I received that one cold). I've experienced it all from this location, and I'm done.
The photo below shows an order placed a few weeks ago. I ordered a well-done medium pizza with whole pepperoni topping and half mushroom. However, the pizza arrived not well-done, with only half topped with pepperoni.I immediately called back upon noticing the discrepancy. The person I spoke to, apparently the cook who made the order, denied any mistake and then transferred me to a random employee who said nothing could be done. They advised waiting for a manager to call back. I never received that call. After leaving negative feedback, I was told the store would rectify the issue, but they never did. Weeks later, I called the store and reached the assistant manager, who rudely told me that since I complained, customer service would provide a solution, not the store. When I mentioned the email from customer service stating the store would resolve the issue, I was transferred to the main manager, who promptly offered a refund that I never received.
I don't like the fact that I have leave this review but from overall experience and even from looking at other review it is well overdue and deserved. These guys do not care about their customers, the very people that pay their bills. Staff needs retraining, and focus needs to be given towards quality control in terms of what comes out the oven. Assistant manager needs to be fired or demoted, get someone that actually has people skills it cost $0 to be empathetic to your customers especially when it's a screw up...
Read moreDisclaimer - this is a very first world problem review and I am only so passionate because I am hangry. Because I never got my order. But the poor service should still be mocked about on the internet.
Imagine being a vegan and being able to order a large pizza, extra sauce, no cheese, no meat and the delicious garlic dipping sauce. Like a giant plate of breadsticks. That would be marvelous and is 100% possible at Papa John’s, according to PETA. However, no one will understand what this means if you place the order online. They will send you a cheese pizza. Even though it very easily askes online “how much cheese do you want?” regular? Light? None? Check one! If you check ‘none’, they assume you have no dairy allergies or have made any uncommon dietairy restrictions. You’ll just get a cheese pizza that wasn’t supposed to have cheese on it. AND THEN when you call back to complain they will tell you they didn’t have your correct phone number but will send the correct pizza AND take the correct phone number to reach you. In conclusion, you will never receive your vegan pizza (because “they were there and you didn’t answer your unringing phone with the updated phone number you gave them so they left”), you will question our new age of “order online!” technology, and you will be unable to order from any reputable app like UberEats or Postmates because it has gotten too late while you were waiting for your vegan pizza. Get it together. Learn how to read. Learn how to not be a €#%*. Because no one left a bad review after talking to someone kind.
I am still hangry.
P.S. would leave 0 stars but the kind delivery guy deserves 2. The staff at the Dixie HWY locations...
Read moreThe only reason this review has any stars is the exceptional service I received from one worker when I arrived. I did not catch the gentleman's name (young white man, mid 20's, tattoo on his right arm), but would like to give credit where credit it is due. To provide a little backstory, I arrived at this location and was immediately caught off guard by yelling amongst employees. At no point did this stop (a little common courtesy when a customer arrives should be obvious no matter the personal issues), and I was visibly uncomfortable by this point. The gentleman noticed this and attempted to sway the situation to focus their attention on getting my order out to no prevail; but at the very least tried. Next was the issue with payment. I brought a $50 dollar bill (for future reference, Papa Johns does not accept $50 dollar bills) and while the gentleman forementioned attempted to do anything and everything to help, the manager (I later found out he was the general manager) instructed me to leave and find somewhere to break it (ok, I understand you do not accept $50, but shooing off a customer...). All in all, a horrible experience at this location. I want to say thank you to the young man who helped me, but will never be returning to...
