Marcello's Ristorante & Pizza — Restaurant in North Middleton Township

I normally don't like to give bad reviews unless they are very much earned. So today this was earned I started off ordering their special 2 one-topping for 18.99. That's a good deal being as though that I have three young children and their friends over for a sleepover Perfect Price and I don't have to cook. I called and place my order at 3:12 pm. An hour passed I called them at 4:15 p.m. and ask them where was my order they informed me that they mixed up and had the wrong address. That's fine everybody makes mistakes the delivery guy makes it to my house and he is very polite I signed my ticket because I paid with my card he asked me if I need plates or hot pepper and I'm like sure I don't have to wash the dishes at this point I'm very happy he goes to the car and gets the plates and the peppers. As I go in the house and try to look at my order to see if it's correct the first pizza looks amazing the second Pizza pie however it's not what I ordered I asked for onions and steak they gave me onions and pork now my children don't eat pork so I could not feed that to them. I called back to the restaurant and inform them what happened they tell me that steak does not apply to the special which is fine but I should have been told before I ordered and it was delivered I was not so while on the phone with their representative he informed me that he can remake my pizza and I would just pay the difference for the meat. He did not give me a total he did not tell me how much it would be for the difference. Instead they charged me half price for a specialty pizza a cheese steak Pizza which I did not want I was very specific on what I wanted. When I informed them that I was not happy and that's not what I wanted the gentleman on the phone eventually got very rude which I can understand because I was frustrated but it was like I did something wrong like I messed the order up in all they did not remake my pizza and give me the difference for the topping they remade my pizza and made me pay for their mistake I am very unhappy with this service. So I called back this is the third time now and pretty much the person on the other end of the phone made me feel as though that I was not ordering right or that they were not at fault for messing up my order in the first place. Eventually I got fed up and I went to the establishment after I ordered delivery. The delivery guy was actually trying to take up for me because they were trying to say that I didn't pay for my first order and he insisted that I did ( don't know his name but he was very nice) when I got to the store with my box of pizza in hand somebody said can I help you and I said yes I walked to the counter and started to explain to them what happened an elderly gentleman with salt and pepper hair told me to calm down........ I disregarded his comments and explain to him what happened he did however give me my money back because I did not authorize the transaction on my card from the beginning of the. 2nd delivery but the experience here is like none other I never went through anything as disrespectful as this as far as customer service and I work in customer service it is shameful. I do not. Appreciate how I was treated and I do not appreciate them authorizing transactions on a card that they had no permission to do this restaurant would never get my business again and everyone that I know and Carlisle will know what happened to me...

It actually pains me to have to leave this review, but like in baseball its 3 strikes and you’re out. Its minimal and I contribute it to lack of effort. The past 3 times my family has ordered from here theres been something wrong with one of our meals. First time the hot pepper relish wasnt put onto one of our subs, the second time they just flat out didnt make one of the salads and delivered our order without the salad. They did make it right by bringing us the salad they forgot but it was almost 2 hours later before we got it. The most recent time they didnt put an ingredient on one of our subs. Ill still order from here because the food tastes great but come on marcellos! Get your act together! If i spend my hard earned money on your food at least take the time to make sure our food is delivered to us the way we ordered it. Wanted to leave this because every establishment and person has a bad today. Today my wife and I ordered 2 subs and an order of fries to share. First of all, the amount of fries we got was enough for 3 people, second, our subs were made exactly how we wanted them to a tee! I have always loved the food here, my last review was based off my 3 previous orders with them. This time on 10/25/24 they nailed it! The girl that answered the phone was attentive and the people that prepared our food did an amazing job, out delivery driver was amazing! Great...

Always happy with this high quality local pizza shop. Prices are awesome, food is great. This is exactly what you're looking for if you just want a legit Italian pizza shop.

WHAT HAPPENED!!!! This used to be so good. Literally for years it was good. I went here 4 times in a row now and have had horrid experience. The most recent I dined in with my wife and kids...The place was loaded with flies! The dining room was disgusting. There's dust falling from the ceiling air vents onto your food as you eat. There is a table with a broken leg my wife leaned against and almost fell into our 4 month old baby. I'll add pictures to illustrate. Cleanliness aside. Lunch special used to be 6.75 for fries sub and soda, now it's 8.75. They are over charging because they got a reputation as a good shop. I am here to make them change back. The cheese steaks had hardly any meat or cheese. The fries were almost raw and undercooked.

Please fix my local Pizza Shop!!!
