Update: All I want to say is a year later from this review and I can't begin to tell you how amazing this pizza is. Literally just the Cheese pizza is so amazing I buy it all the time. Their wings are fried and super good so if you're looking for pizza and wings, and you want something that actually tastes amazing this is your place. Their customer service has been top notch still. Oh and they have Tiramisu that is incredible! What kind of pizza place has actual good dessert anymore? They literally do everything right here.
Let me tell you people something- This place gets it. The pizza is super high quality and customer service is top notch. So I heard people rave about this place and gave them a shot. I'm glad I did, the pizza is superior to the normal chains bar far, so much so I had forgotten what good pizza taste like. Let's break it down: Sauce- it has a robust, herby sweetness that just hits home hard. Cheese: Melty and always well cooked. Toppings- super quality, like Angelo's-esk. They really do a good job at loading up. Crust/dough: perfect balance of crunch and chewyness. Let's talk wings- they fry them and rank at the top of the biz at pizza places. How bout mistakes? I've ordered a few times and when an order of wings showed up with the wrong sauce I didn't really care but my fiance doesn't like garlic parm. I just replied back to the email they sent and let them know that there was a mix up. They called and left a VM asking to make it right but again Im easy going I just ate my wings and it wasn't even a big deal so I never called back. Read moreMy husband and tried Giovanni's Pizza over a year ago. Our first experience was not great and I would have rated this pizza shop a 2. The first experience I ordered online but when my husband went to pick up the pizza they never received the order slip....well yes they did but they misplaced it and never made it. So he had to wait. While waiting he said some staff members were yelling at each other and obviously did not care about making a scene in front of customers. The pizza was not made well and you could tell their unprofessional demeanor had effected the food they made. Fast forward to PRESENT. I like to give companies the benefit of the doubt so I called to order and give this place another chance to redeem themselves. Lucas answered with a polite and respectful tone. I had questions regarding prices because they are not listed on their web site. I also wanted to know what their current specials were because they had past ones on their web site. He allowed me to use the old coupon on their site. I had to call back for an another question and once again he answered it fully. When my husband picked up the pizza Lucas had the menu with prices for us and upgraded one of our pizzas. The pizza was made correctly this time and the crust was PERFECTION! Read moreAfter several negative experiences my family decided to boycott this location and likely the chain (a big deal as we love pizza!) as they failed us on multiple fronts the evening of 4/1/23.
Failure A: we made a phone order of 3 pizzas and were told 15 minutes. This was clearly deception or severe incompetence.
Failure B: When arriving to pick up 20 minutes later, they were only just inserting into the oven(!) It took ANOTHER 20 minutes wait time during which some waiting customers cancelled their orders and left upset.
Failure C: (Led to boycott decision) The staff wasn’t updating anyone, apologizing, or engaging at all. It’s like they all had a collective mental health diagnosis of avoidant behavior. Maybe they were embarrassed, drugged out or something but it was unacceptable behavior toward their customers.
Failure D: They messed up the order but only a little bit to be fair. One of the pizza’s was supposed to be well done and wasn’t even close to that state of crispy brown bliss.
