We have ordered here many times and have never had an issue until now. I ordered chicken chowmein, never ordered it before. There is lettuce like cabbage in it and it had this slim like film all throughout. Not eatable at all. So I called and the manager was put on the phone. I asked if there was anything they could do? He said that I could bring it back and could get something else the next day. So I did that. I called ahead of time to see if they could start the meal and the manager said yes. I got there and the girl working the counter was extremely rude. I did what I was told to do. She said her manager there said that they wouldn't ever do this again, let me bring food back and I said if it was a problem that they could just throw it away and I'd leave, she said no it will be a while that they were cooking it. I sat down. I've been in customer service for many years and would have never treated someone like that. I sat down, she called me up once it was done. I told her that I didn't understand why she was so rude to me when I did what the manager asked me to do. Which was bring it back and pick up something else.i asked for one of the managers that I spoke to and she said there was no manager there that they don't answer their own phones. That a 3rd party answers and takes the orders and takes care of the managerial issues. I find this a bit odd. That someone else does but the female manager that is there in the restaurant doesn't speak English and she would need to translate for me to her. She then said that they don't want customer like this. Ones that return things get something else and then do it again. I told her that we order from them often and have never had a problem before. That this was the first time and I would hope that it would never happen again. I was insulted to think that she assumed I would be the type to just return food after return food. I told her that I'm not like that and said I wouldn't be back. It is unfortunate because we drive 13 miles to get there each time when there are about 4 or 5 ther Chinese restaurants we pass to get there because we like the quality of the food and my husband loves this place. I had to explain it 3 times. Last night to the manager over the phone, today over the phone then to the extremely rude cashier there. I did nothing to be treated that way. I was willing to throw it away and to just leave and go home with out a refund and or replacement of the meal and no apology from her what so ever. As I sat there she wasn't very pleasant with any one that walked in really. My husband said that she is always incredibly rude. I hate to say it but this is how places have reg residents never want to come back. If you don't like your job or feel justified to treat people that way you might be in the wrong position. Never assume anything and think before treating...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreIāve never reviewed on here before. But I had the worst experience Iāve ever had with any restaurant, I needed to share my experience. Please read and avoid ordering from here.
Iāve been here many many times before, first I have to say their food has always been lackluster. I only kept returning based on convenience of location and cheap pricing.
This time is the last I will ever order from them.
Started by calling them to place an order, lady was extremely rude. But thatās ok, I let it slide, thinking she was frustrated from how busy they may be during holidays.
I had an emergency arise after placing order, and could not make it to the store to pick up my order. I called them maybe 5 minutes after the food was ready to be picked up, letting her know I was sorry I could not make it to the store and had an emergency.
She demanded I pay, tried convincing me I did wrong by not calling ahead earlier to let her know. By all means I wish I had called her earlier, I never intend to do harm or wrong. but thatās literally the meaning of emergency, for all she knows my kid could have been dying. And I Inconvenienced her by not calling 10 minutes earlier.
I picked up the phone to call them at my earliest availability. But she berated me for not calling earlier saying I still needed to pay for it even tho I wasnāt able to come in.
Last time I ever shop here. They lost a very loyal and caring customer.
Worst. Shop. Ever. Avoid...
Ā Ā Ā Read moreWe tried China 1 for the first time last night and it was not good. I donāt know if it was because they were very busy or what, but the food tasted very bland. I ordered the general tso and the chicken had no spice to it and it tasted just like the orange chicken we got for our boys. The chicken was also very soft and felt like it was pre-frozen. It had no crisp from frying. The noodles were also not very flavorful and were rather dry. The rice was also dry and not very flavorful. My wifeās beef also had little to no flavor.
To top it off, when we ordered we asked for meals. Apparently we used the wrong word and didnāt call it a ācomboā. When we picked up our food the total was $50 for the three of us when it shouldāve been about $24. When I asked, she said I shouldāve ordered combo. The food wasnāt even done yet and I asked if I could just change it to the combo instead and was told no and that she would give me three egg rolls instead. I said there were four of us and asked if she could at least do four and...
