My low rating is not because of customer service, it’s because of food safety. I have a gluten allergy, and i understand there is always a risk for cross contamination when going out to ANY restaurant. However, I’ve seen no effort in any attempt to avoid cross contamination.
I watched an employee take onions off of a toasted sandwhich and put them BACK IN THE CONTAINER OF ONIONS. Even without an allergy, that is like rule number 1 in food safety no no’s.
I should be able to order a salad at a place where their slogan is “eat fresh” without being scared of very avoidable issues. It’s 2025….gluten allergies have become so common….swap your gloves, grab a CLEAN knife, wipe the cutting board clean of crumbs before slicing the meat going into my salad….. it’s a few extra steps that are so simple. There was no line, I was the ONLY person in there.
I definitely won’t be getting a salad from subway anymore because I literally can’t take the risk of them not caring about their job enough to make sure I don’t get sick. Because spoiler alert, I did get sick...
Read moreI do not recommend going to this subway. At least one of the employees does not understand health standards. We ordered two breakfast sandwiches on flatbreads. One had mold on the bread. When I told my husband, he said he remembers seeing the employee picking something off the bread but didn’t think anything about it. Thinking back, he remembers the employee throwing away three other flatbreads from the same bag. Now I’m sure it was because they had mold on them, like mine. My husband went back to the store to have new ones made with different bread. The response or apology the employee had was “I’m sorry I didn’t pick it all off for you.” The fact that she thought it was okay to pick the mold off the bread and still serve it is completely mind blowing and absolutely disgusting. Needless to say, we did not have another sandwich made. This review is not so much for Subway but for that particular employee at...
Read moreI have never, ever EVER been to a Subway so disrespectful to people who are gluten intolerant - until this place. They actually store their chopped salad bowls in the bread cabinet!! At the bottom! Beneath all the crumbs (gravity is real, people). They are blaming corporate. I know better. I travel a lot and eat at Subway all over the US. I have faith in this brand that they wouldn’t be so insensitive to those of us who can’t eat wheat. And I rely on their chopped salads as a means to eat when on the road. Don’t go here. If they are not concerned about those of us who are either gluten intolerant or Celiac, then they likely don’t care about everyone...
