I went today for a combo and some other items. The person taking order asked if it looked correct on the screen and I replied yes. When I received the order over 10min later I only had a burger and the side I ordered. When I said I ordered a combo they argued saying I didn’t. The person taking the order then said that I changed mind when I ordered the side…Huh! So I say I will pay the difference I’m told not to worry about it. About 4 mins later they come out with just the drink. I then ask about the fries and they act as if they helped me out by giving me a “free” drink as they stated “we gave this to you free” I replied that I’m not here for free food. I ask for a refund and see the manager talking with the employees and comes out and ask if I want a refund receipt which he had in his hand. Of course I want my receipt, and when I start to explain what happened he walks off. I say this is why the service here is bad and he goes off. He was not interested in hearing why someone would return the entire order versus take what they have paid for. This location was closed not too long ago and was not a good location to visit then and still is not a good location. Nothing has changed since they opened back up. The manager then gets into a pissing match about me wanting to talk to him about the service I received and tells me to go on and have a good day. He wasn’t interested in what he could do to make his staff better. He is not listening just as his employees are not listening. Makes sense why the reviews for this location or so low. I hope management understands this was a matter of principle, I cannot support businesses that just don’t care about the customer. All in all I was there close to 20min and didn’t even get a...
Read moreThis Sonic used to be a class act joint complete with great food and great customer service. Within the last six months this place has taken a nose dive.
The employees run this location and because of that you will see employees eating from the topping cart with bare hands and running their bare hands through the ice machine to put ice in their mouths. I witnessed a white male teenager with a black hoodie do this in the drive thru over and over as the manager sat there and watched his employee do this. The manager is a balding guy with red facial hair. Despite his lack of control he seems like he genuinely cares about customers when he is running the drive thru but it seems he is always having to run himself ragged because his staff couldn't care less about anything other than a pay check. I know this because of the poor attention to detail during the order process and their poor attitudes when dealing with the public.
The last five times through the drive thru our order has been wrong. I don't like to stop going places because of one bad experience so I have been biding my time with this staff. We are now done in hopes that the owner will clean house and get some people in here who care about providing a service to the community.
I know the times we live in have seriously limited the number of staff some restaurants have but I feel like this place is now on the downhill slope because they cannot keep their staff accountable. Hopefully that...
Read moreI love Sonic but sadly, I will not order from here anymore. Twice I ordered ice cream (sonic blasts) to be exact thru Uber Eats. Both times I received them totally melted and very little toppings even after paying for extra topping. They should not fix icecreams until the driver arrives because it should not be melted when I live less than a mile from the restaurant. Tonight I stopped in and ordered my usual medium blast with Oreo and Reese's topping added, and my daughter got a mini Oreo with cookie dough added. Got home and both of them only had topping on top, none in the middle or bottom meaning they weren't mixed up at all. Very little toppings and I paid $10 for that? Day shift and night shift cannot make ice cream? The one on Davis in Keller and the one on Denton Hwy have no problem adding appropriate toppings and mixing them, why can't...
