China Cook — Restaurant in North Township

The customer service was excellent they were very nice and kid friendly. But unfortunately the food is disgusting and not fresh. I think this place needs New Management or needs to get get fresh food and better cooks. For the safety of customers. I wouldn't suggest people eat the food just so you don't end up in the hospital or with any type of stomach infection. The food is not fresh and not cooked properly. Bloody Chicken and Greasy rice can be very hazardous. Please be careful and think twice about eating here. Unfortunately this will be my first and last time ever coming to this establishment, I'm praying for them.

Update edited review [May 29th] : This is my third time eating from here since ive moved in EC recently, the first two times were ok. But this last time was not good. Food is waaay too damn oily(there was a pool of oil in the corners of the container) and tasteless the spring rolls taste like they were sprinkled with salt after frying. I ordered sweet and sour shrimp like i did the last time. Last time I had a container full of fried shrimp this time they gave me 4 fried pieces. What a joke. I live nearby and was trying to support local businesses but this one i just cannot. Last time.

I was worried about ordering because of the reviews but like another person stated regular place is closed on Monday’s well the reviews are correct,their food was awful .. to begin the egg rolls were burned and seemed recooked but not only that the taste was weird it had like ground beef and a weird taste, the chicken was dry and seemed frozen for the sweet n sour chicken. The shrimp just as other reviewers smelled bad and the rice was not fresh sorry but nowhere near Ma’s Chinese Wok on Chicago Ave… never will order...
