Fuerte Meat Market — Local services in North Township

I have been shopping here since 2013. I live Over 40 miles away,...so it’s diffi sometimes. I stopped in today for the 1st. Time in a year...., unbelievable change!!! The butchers are a bunch of in- mature jerks,..swearing and throwing things around. Extremely rude,..disrespectful to customers , asked for a certain meat ,..said “ i’m American,.. and I don’t recognize how your prenoncing it!!!!! I personally speak four language’s and was in law enforcement for over twelve years never seen or heard such disrespect. An African American was standing there also getting very rude service. I had to quit law enforcement because of a severe illness and enventually a missing kidney. I literally became ill as I exited the store. My sugar level went extremely low. I later called the supposed owner to explain the treatment I received. Please, if you have anyone that you know that you would not want to get treated like garbage .. like your parents or elders. DO Not LET THEM SHOP THERE. I will never shop there again,..I also will comment to every person I know in that neighborhood to ever step foot in there. It’s a shame. So...

I LOVE this little Mexican corner store! They have a HUGE selection of spices, meats, veggies, drinks, etc. They have homemade salsas, pico de gallo, guacamole, tamales, and poblano peppers. They have a little spot in there where they sell phenomenal and authentic tacos, flautas and burritos. You can buy them individually or in a combo meal with beans, rice and a soda. The only reason why I didn't give them 5 stars is because everything is quite pricey and more expensive than a regular grocery store. But they do have certain things that I specifically go there for and wouldn't go anywhere else. I really do love this cantina! If I were the owner, I would be proud of myself because this place is freaking AWESOME!!! I would, and actually do, reccomend this...

Used to be a great place, but they are getting terrible with the meat products. I went there today to get some Party wings And some black spots on the chicken I proceeded to tell the Mexican lady I do not want the chicken with the black spots She looked at me like she didn’t understand English. I proceeded to tell her one more time and she didn’t understand she was just putting the chicken in the bag With the black spots, so long story short, you need to get people that understand English this is America or get fresh products like I say, I’ve been shopping there for years, but today is my last day.
