I ordered online and went to pick it up. You can also choose delivery, but need to call the store to pay over the phone.
This was my 2nd time actually dining here - but thought I needed to review. Upon ordering, it said my order would be ready in 20-30 minutes. I got there in about 30 minutes. I did have to wait a bit as there appeared to be one person working and she had a table she was also serving at the same time.
I ordered the Basil Chicken w/brown rice & Kung Pao Pork w/white rice. I also ordered the Edamame. The one Basil Chicken order was a dinner and included an egg roll and salad.
The Edamame was fine. Not super HOT, but I also waited a bit and it took me about 12 min to drive home. But they were just fine.
The Kung Pao Pork was not as spicy as I thought it would be. But there were TONS of vegetables in it. The taste wasn't super powerful, so it was just okay.
The Basil Chicken was good and also contained a ton of vegetables, which I liked. Peppers, corn, zucchini, onions, string peas and mushrooms. I may have missed a veggie, but there are quite a few varieties. The Chicken was good...again not the most powerful taste, but it was fine.
The salad was warm and I couldn't eat it. I would have prepared the salad be in a separate bag so it stayed crisp and chilled, if it was supposed to be. The egg roll was mostly breading and hard to actually chew. Not my favorite. But to be honest, I'm not a fan of egg rolls.
They threw some sauces in the bag, but no chop sticks so you may need to ask if you need those. The only other minor issue was the sauce was already leaking inside the bag from one of the styrofoam containers.
The menu is extravagant and filled with half Chinese items and half Japanese items. I will try again and focus more on Japanese...
Read moreI wish I could give them negative stars. I really don’t understand how this place has high ratings, nowhere near good Chinese food and the customer service is horrid. They are rude and dismissive, even when they are visibly wrong. I ordered sushi and it had hair in it, plus it was flavorless, the shrimp and rice was mushy. Not just a small strand ( I could’ve let it go if it was one time with one hair, things happen) but 3-4 strands of hair in a couple different pieces. I called and told them about it, and they tried to say it was my hair and that no women were working there. I came back up there 17 mins after picking up my order and showed them it was woven into the untouched sushi pieces. Not only that, I literally pulled a couple strands from my head to show them the texture and color of my hair… which is nowhere near brown or straight (my hair has been dyed blue for 6 years and it’s very long & coily). He then continued to argue that it wasn’t their hair and it was someone in my home. After I mentioned calling the board of health he then finally agreed it wasn’t mine in the food (what a joke) & gave me a refund. So much for trying to support a local business. I’d rather continue to drive 20+ miles to a place that has always given me GREAT & POLITE customer service with fresh, clean food than come back here. I will NEVER come back here again and I have also advised my family and friends to not spend their money here ever. What a gross joke...
Read moreWe decided to grab a quick lunch today. I haven't been here in a year or more. The restaurant's strip center is run down with trash, cigarette butts, peeling paint, dirt build up, and random weeds popping up in the concrete. We weren't sure if they were still in business but saw the open neon sign and went inside. The a/c was off with open doors. The decor was nice once upon a time but is tired. The floors and base boards could use a deep cleaning. The booth was clean with clean placemat. The kitchen was well organized and clean also. All good signs. We ordered a smoothie which was okay but a little too sweet. The crab rangoon was okay. It was creamy with a sweetness to it. I had the Pad Thai which wasn't the best. It had a weird smell and taste I couldn't put my finger on. The noodles were thin rice noodles and I prefer the thai wide noodles. I did appreciate the chopped peanuts and lime. I really like an authentic Pad Thai that is sweet and spicy at the same time. This was just sweet. My son enjoyed the Korean fried rice, which was very good. I ate more of his dish than my own. It had an amazing taste of buttery well seasoned beef with egg and vegetables. It made our tongues very happy. I will come back for that dish again. I think this menu is too large. Large menus make it difficult to discover the perfected dishes. I suggest sticking to the...
