When I go to McDonaldâs I already expect to receive bad service because letâs be real most McDonaldâs are full of bottom of the barrel workers. Rude, Ratchet, and not an ounce of customer service skills. I never write negative reviews because I never want to influence someoneâs position at their place of employment. Tonight though is different. I cannot believe the treatment I received at the McDonaldâs Restaurant #5900, 9117 Indianapolis Blvd, Highland, IN 46322. I placed a mobile order at 8:45 pm and began heading to the McDonaldâs restaurant. My home is located approximately eight minutes from this location. I arrived at the restaurant at approximately 8:53 pm. I followed the directions as I waited in the drive through line. When I approached the speaker I informed the gentleman at the speaker I had an mobile order and was instructed to pull around. I reached the second window at 9:09 pm and was immediately asked by a younger woman to pull into mobile spot number one. I waited and watched as other cars pulled into the drive through placed and received their orders and left. By now I know either they forgot about my mobile order or itâs not of priority. At 9:23 pm I placed a call to the restaurant to ask about my order but no one answered the phone. At this moment Iâve decided my family and I have waited long enough. I pulled back around the drive through and told the gentleman at the speaker I wanted a refund. There was no sympathetic tone nor an apology from him. I was told to pull around to the second window once again by an attitude filled voice, because this is my fault right? I get to the second window at 9:30 pm and the same young woman who had originally asked me to pull into spot number one was again at the window. I told her I was the woman that had waited thirty minutes for her food and would like a refund. She didnât say a word. She rolled her eyes while walking away and mumbling to the gentleman who was the voice over the speaker. Finally, a manager came to the window. The manager came over to the window and rudely told me she came out with the food and I wasnât there. I informed her from 9:23 pm to 9:30 pm I was once again waiting in the drive through line to bring to someones attention that I waited 30 minutes for my order. The managers only response was to give me a dirty look and repeat her first statement. At this moment, I realized there was no point in debating and/or arguing with her. I just repeated that I wanted a refund because nothing was going to change the treatment I was receiving, change the fact that the food had been sitting, or magically give me back the thirty minutes I waited. The manager requested my card and issued a refund at 9:32 pm. When she came back to the window she handed me two receipts and my card. Never did she apologize or show any apologetic attitude or mannerisms. I requested the managers name and she told me her name is Claudette. I left the restaurant infuriated by the treatment I received. This is the treatment restaurant #5900 allows their managment and employees to provide. It begins with managment, if managment displays this type of behavior it then makes it acceptable and begins to thrive in this kind of environment. I was a restaurant manager in the Chicago Land Area for five years. I can honestly say establishments like Culverâs stride to provide excellent customer service. Itâs worth paying the extra money for better service and higher quality food. I will continue to inform friends and family members in the area not to purchase food from McDonaldâs #5900 as the nasty behaviors should never be supported in any situation. McDonaldâs #5900 couldnât pay me to go back. Original Receipt reads: KS#14 6/23/2019 9:09 PM Order 98

Read moreIf I was able to rate this McDonaldâs a zero out of five stars, I would. First, my friend ordered a happy meal with fries, a cheeseburger, sauce and then had also ordered a strawberry and cream pie. First off, in her happy meal box, she had originally only received her sauces that she ordered, her fries and her toy. She did not get her cheeseburger that she ordered. She pulled through the drive-through and told them and the worker in the drive-through told her to go inside after she had gone through the drive-through originally, so that she didnât have to deal with the rude workers inside. Mind you, we were in the drive-through previously for at least 15 minutes waiting for a worker to help us. We went inside to get her cheeseburger and she gave it to us while laughing about it. Not to mention, that instead of the cheeseburger that she asked for TWICE, she gave her a plain hamburger. We left at that point, then we realized after we had already gone here twice, her strawberry and cream pie that she ordered was in fact an apple pie, so not only did the workers suck. The food sucked too. HOW ON EARTH DO YOU MESS UP A MOBILE ORDER WHEN THE COMPUTER IS RIGHT THERE IN...
Read moreToday I ordered 2 vanilla cones & 1 regular Oreo McFlurry at 5:02pm. I was asked to pull to the 2nd window. After waiting with my kids until 5:11pm, I called McDonaldâs and asked if the ice cream machine was down. I was told it was not. And that they were only having issues with strawberry (which I did not order). I explained we were waiting at the 2nd window & would like to speak to the manager about the situation. I was informed I was speaking to the manager and that in fact they were having issues with ice cream. That they had run out and were working on it but that employees were bringing my cones out right then. I received my order at 5:15pm and all the manager could do was ask if there was anything else she could do before wishing me a âgood nightâ as if 13 minutes drive thru waits are common and acceptable customer service here. Mind you, tons of cars were attended to and served...
