Stopped in at Olive Leaves, and man, it’s a mixed bag—kinda like their grill. The meat? Grilled to perfection, juicy as hell, made me wanna slap the chef on the ass and say, “Good game.” But then the rest of the plate showed up, and it was like the kitchen said, “Let’s see how far we can yeet this into the void.” Salt? Never heard of her. The falafel was undercooked inside, gooey like a snot ball, the salad was a flavorless crime scene—begging for salt and a mercy killing.
Then the rice. Oh, the rice. They gave me two kinds, because why not double the chaos? One tasted like some half-assed Mexican rice that got lost on its way to Chipotle. The other? Like my grandma’s cat-shaped perfume bottle—the kind where you unscrew the head and accidentally drown your food in floral regret—took a wrong turn into the pot. I took one bite and nearly coughed up a doily. And the veggies? Straight outta a La Choy can, slimy and confused, like they’d been sitting in the back of a pantry since the Nixon administration.
I tried to hit the men’s room to recover—should’ve been a cakewalk since I was the only dude in the joint—but nope, door’s locked tighter than a nun’s chastity belt. Turns out the kitchen staff claimed it as their personal crap castle. When I finally got a whiff, it was like Satan himself took a dump and forgot to flush—think rotting eggs and despair, with a hint of “I hope you brought your own Lysol.”
Such a damn shame. The grilled meat was a rockstar, but the rest? It didn’t just miss the mark—it tripped over it, face-planted into a pile of disappointment, and farted on...
Read moreWow....Can I just say that my taste buds were so happy!!! The service is excellent and so pleasant. The environment was bright and inviting. Great place for small groups of people or even for a date night wanting to try something new. The food was well seasoned, grilled to perfection, and the plate presentation was beautiful. I recommend having the grilled halloumi (cheese), which is typically made from sheep and goats' milk. It is firm in texture and comes with some veggies. We also had the mix grill(comes with two types of rice), the gyro plate (comes with two types of rice, lettuce and tomato, and pita ), and the Bashka chicken sandwich (comes with fries and pickled veggies). It was so flavorful that I savored every bite. 😋 The grilled meat had a crispiness on the outside and was tender and juicy on the inside. The gyro is not your typical that you get from other places around here. It looked like the real deal, not the processed kind ( I just felt the difference in texture and flavor). Many blessings to this location, may you prosper and always keep good in quality. Go...
Read moreThe food here is on point every time! We had a party of 25...yes, 25. I called to see if they could accomodate us and it was literally no problem. The servers, cooks, managers and owners are some of the nicest people you will ever meet. Now the food...chef's kiss! The lamb is tender and delicious! Chicken is so flavorful! Shrimp grilled to perfection! Branzino fish was amazing but be careful of the bones. Some friends even tried the pasta and said that was outstanding! Hummas was tasty and they have a sampler that is a must try! Every meal was a hit! Writing this review makes me want to go back already. If you have never tried Mediterranean food, this restaurant is a great introduction. You won't be disappointed! Oh and of course they have Gyros and those who ordered them said they were tasty also. I almost forgot...the fries!!! I don't know what kind of seasoning they put on them or what oil they're cooked in but they were incredible! Really happy my friends found this...
