Overstuffed Skillets & Sandwiches — Restaurant in North Township

Disappointing at best. We entered with high Hope's based on reviews my wife had read, however our experience fell short. My wife ordered the O.M.G. burger. It arrived about 25-30 minutes after ordering. I ordered the juicy Lucy burger, which arrived about 12 minutes after my wife's food arrived at the table.we were told that the cook/chef wasn't happy with the way the first juicy Lucy burger was cooked so he/she re-fired it, which would explain the additional wait time...however upon arrival the burger was unevenly cooked. Well done on the bottom and nearly raw on the top. The fries that arrived with my burger(juicy Lucy) were classic dissapointing frozen fries that you'd get from most dinners, and the bacon cheesy tots that came with my wife's O.M.G. burger tasted very oily, and frozen. The one bite I had of my wifes burger tasted like butter, and butter alone. As far as service goes, it left something to be desired. I waited tables for about a year and I completely understand that from time to time you get hungry and order something for yourself. This is completely acceptable...however...if you order food on your shift dont sit at the bar and eat it, eat it in the back of the restaurant while your customers are waiting on their food orders. This goes the same for whom we believed was the expiditer that we noticed eating at the window, again while we waited for our food. Went here today. It was clean, weird ambiance - the staff just stares at you from behind this long counter while you eat. I'm guessing they don't work by the motto, "If you aren't busy pick up a broom!" It was very off putting. The blonde who was training another young woman was rude but our actual waiter was a young man and very polite which kind of made up for her demeanor. I was not impressed with the food. At all. We got mickey mouse pancakes- it was literally just a pancake (where all restuarants in this area actually add whip cream, a cherry, and a face of sorts) and 2 sausages (Churros does it so much better for the same price!?.) I had the chipotle cheesesteak with extra cheese, I got it because it listed all this stuff on it and I got it and BLAH. No extra cheese smh, less than desirable looking, white doughy bread with sesame seeds on it (????) and I had to get up from my seat and ask for more chipotle. Definitely does not live up to its name. Although it was pretty disappointing, I'm really hoping it was just a bad day (we all have them.) I hope to try again and be impressed because I heard good thing's and was sorely disappointed on...

Placed a phone order at 2pm, showed up and paid for my order at 2:09pm. At 2:50pm my order was still not ready so I asked for a refund because my lunch time was over, owner refused to give me a refund. Told me if I want fast food to go to McDonald's. I said " if you give me a refund I would be happy to go to Mcdonald's. Never received a refund...

RESPONSE TO OWNER; That's a complete lie, you said 20-30 minutes, we showed up in 10 minutes and didn't mind waiting an extra 10-20 minutes since we really wanted to try a new place for lunch since our office is down the street. I called you at 2:52pm shown in the picture attached, our conversation was 4 minutes long and you STILL didn't have the food prepared for my guy to take back. That's 47 minutes total for two wraps, a fry and an onion ring if you do the math. And last time I checked, wraps, fries and onions rings constitute for fast food. Bottom line - if you told us 40-45 minutes from the start, we would've gone elsewhere since our lunch break is only an hour long.
