Hello everyone! Tonight i decided to order Pizza from my favorite place state line pizza which we order once a week! I have ordered from here several years and I’m a huge advocate for this place being one of the best pizza places ever! Well tonight was my first experience in a negative way. When our pizza arrived it was perfect as always and my daughter and husband proceeded to eat it! I was in the living room when my husband called for me to show me a slice he had bit in to. There was a thick piece of hair not just sitting on the slice but actually baked into the slice where you couldn’t pull it out! Nasty right 🤷🏽♀️ So i called and the lady answered she was nice and heard me out. I didn’t curse or yell! Honestly i thought it was accident. First time in years ever anything wrong. She placed me on hold and a man who stated he was the cook came to the phone. No sorry No my bad No what happened 🤷🏽♀️ The first thing he says is he doesn’t dispute what I’m saying but they need the whole pizza back! No problem why would we eat that. Honestly if it was a piece of hair i would have just said throw that piece away! We’re human! But it was baked in ( i have a picture just in case) so i had to ask for another one. His tone and no apology is what hurt the most. Yes hurt! Because I’ve supported this place for a long time. We showed the guy the piece because they did send us another perfect pizza. He was a little shocked too if you ask me! I will continue to order because i stand by my truth, this place still has the best pizza. But I’m disappointed in a small customer service gesture because i too work customer service everyday! My 5 stars are accurate outside of this situation. My advice is Handel every customer differently because you just never know who you are dealing with, what their platform might be and a true mistake could’ve been made. A Sorry could have made a big difference in a...
Read moreIt's sooo tasty, fresh, cheesy, pleasy good! So much so, I went for my birthday..Happy birthday to me.... The post above was 3 years ago. What I say today is totally different. Understandable, time changes things. However, Stateline has changed drastically over the past few years. I wish the owner form 1957 was still in the kitchen.. He would never serve frozen pre-made pizza ordered from a different company...would he??? For starters, I think it shows how much customer appreciation you have by your post. Not 1 response to all the positive comments, you only seem to read all but respond to the negative. Next, the frontline is terrible. Misinformation, lies told over the phone...and frozen pizza in a pizza pie place.. We, believe there are new owners because it's now being ran like so. I raved about this spot for years.and now there are more mistakes than ever. You took away the slices of real pizza and replaced it with frozen round individual pizzas. It's not even the same. They appear to be, and I could be wrong (Home Run Inn Pizza thin crust) Customers that order slices don't deserve stateline.. then the phone person lies and says yes will have slices, ready in 15 minutes and you drive 8 miles to be told ok ready in 15 min. but we dont sell slices or take individual pizza orders over the phone. Huh? Sometimes we get what we give and a curse is no worse than a lie. Definitely, would not have come if Ive been informed. GOOD DAY Please change the sauce back, bring back the slices, weigh ingredients so pizzas are more uniform. We order 2 same topping family last i ordered and 1 had more or less of something....
Read moreOk, I recently moved to the area so I've been trying all the new pizza selections around. This week was state line pizza. Things went south fast when I called to order. First, I was ordering several items and was interrupted after every item with "ok your total is... " and then I'd have to say "no I'm not finished yet." I'm ordering for several people so it's a large order, but now for some reason I feel like some kind of glutton. Then, half way through ordering, I was asked if this is my first time ever ordering pizza. What kind of question is that to ask a customer? Especially half way through ordering. She didn't say "at this location" she said "Is this your first time ordering pizza." I'm a grown man and sound like a grown man on the phone. There no way I could maybe be confused with a small child or someone who may actually be ordering pizza for the first time in their life. Very offensive. So when we confronted her in the store, the manager was very rude and very dissmissive. Said there was no way she said that to me. She said it was to find out if I was a new customer, but again very poor timing after several items were ordered, but not my whole order. So after all this I said I felt like a discount was in order, since even after being offended I still wanted to try the pizza, but I felt like their customer service needed some help. The manager rudely refused any discount, so we left. BTW I'm writing this review while enjoying some amazing pizza and wings from Beggar's on Ridge...
