Restaurant Tarascos — Restaurant in North Township

Traveling thru Indiana and we stopped at this lil gem of a restaurant. Food was delicious and fresh! Took a lil while but didn't mind because I know the microwave was not getting any love at this place lol! Chips and salsa were very good. Chilaquiles verdes were so good and the chips were crispy, egg was mixed in with the chips which I absolutely love (a lot of places have the egg separate and on top), perfect amount of sauce --was a tiny bit spicy but the sour cream helped :). The enchiladas verdes were delicious and that sauce, yum! The sauce was not spicy and it tasted like a creamy poblano sauce, just delicious!! The milanesa del pollo (breaded chicken) was so fresh (prepared made to order), crispy and very tasty!! The Mollete ranchero was absolutely the best I've tasted! I loved that the bread was crispy and not soggy which is usually the case when I have tried that dish at other restaurants. The sauces, rice and beans were very good too! Prices were not bad at all. Hands down this place served very delicious (budget friendly) fresh food and would definitely recommend, hope to pass...

The food was absolutely delicious. The staff was horrible. It's so sad when you have a good thing and the employees or owners ruin it. They have a good location, great food, but beyond horrible service. I pointed to each item on the menu as I ordered, from the lunch special menu. Each item was supposed to cost around $9. Out comes our bill ...$63 for a carryout order of 3 meals and no drinks?? How?? The rude woman taking orders didn't ring up the order properly. I paid the bill, took the food, and will never return. They have awesome Adrian's style nachos, but $16 for 8 chips.....um never again... It's not that good. I'm assuming the girl at the register is the owner's daughter...She wouldn't make eye contact...ruder than rude. I was a server for years and I always tip everyone.... except this time. So sad. This place won't be around very long with...

So we just had this food delivered. We were happily enjoying the appetizer and then my son pulls a long hair out of his mouth. He is a boy and was like oh well I don't want to wait for more food. Then I open my burrito and right on top stuck in the cheese another Long hair. At that point that's just gross. 2 hairs in 2 different plates something is off. Did they comb their hair in the kitchen? Were the hairs purposely put there? Maybe their whole kitchen is dirty and there are just hairs laying around everywhere? I don't know but we paid $75 with a tip for the seamless driver. Seamless did refund our money but now we have to get dinner another way and wait longer for dinner. Of course the boy is mad about it but it's just too gross at this point to allow my child to eat it. Picture of food in trash so everyone sees this...
