Stopped in during an unexpected snowfall late night. Kitchen just closed, but I could smell the aroma of the food and speaking with the cook who stayed to socialize instilled confidence and interest to order in the future.

The bartender was cute and entertaining, which seems to be rare in the North Versailles area at local pubs. The regulars who were there mostly females were also very social and friendly. Which hints to me that this is a great place to unwind from long day. I look forward in returning to this spot in the future and recommend others to give it a go.

That being said, the decor on the walls is a bit tacky, but that's only because I see way to many street signs in my day-to-day. Their drink specials were amazingly competitive to others in the area [Mckeesport, Duquesne, West Mifflin, Monroeville, etc].

All in all, when employees stay behind after their shifts, they have friendly regulars, and you see employees cleaning up as they work. Those are signs of incredible service [business].

I would rate it a 5 however, the tacky decor, and the incredibly slope parking lot [ alcohol + slope ground+ ice] just adds to a dangerous mixed in falling down and getting hurt or dirty ruining everyone's day. That being said, there's a large well spaced...

Worst service in a bar restaurant (if you want to even call it that) in my entire life. Server was extremely rude, unprofessional, and incompetent. I asked what kind of drink specials they had, and the server said "we're a dive bar, what do you think we have?" Your job was to answer my question, not return with an attitude. I'm sorry your job must be SO hard.... considering you also told me and my table to "hurry up ordering, I don't have all day I'm the only one here." Mind you, we ordered at an appropriate time. We asked a question about appetizers. That's your job. AND, there were literally no other tables seated. There were maybe 4 people sitting at the bar. Shame on you and shame on your restaurant. No wonder you change owners all the time and cycle through employees, cause you're absolute trash.

I was a server for years at a restaurant where I served 300+ people a day. You can do better than that. You're not that busy. You're just rude and you don't want to do your job.

P.S. Why don't you actually print new menus and laminate them, instead of giving crumpled up paper menus with someone else's half...

The waitress didn't write our order down and ended up ordering the well done fries for the wrong person. My Ruben had maybe a tablespoon of sauerkraut on the whole sandwich and barely enough meat for half of a sandwich. I left hungry. One of my friends who usually takes half her food home ate almost everything. The food was expensive, skimpy and not delicious. My Ruben didn't taste like a Ruben and my fries were limp and tasteless. We won't be going back. This is a local hang out in a blue collar neighborhood and the food prices are more suited for an upscale neighborhood. Unfortunately the food isn't upscale. I've had better meals in a greasy spoon diner. Would NOT recommend this place to anyone! Don't think...

A buddy of mine and I were running some errands and we stopped in here on a Thursday evening for a bite. It's a typical bar in Western PA. Full of locals and it has an ever so slightly stale beer smell that most bars have. That being said, it's all good. The staff was friendly, the place pretty clean, and the food was a great quality for a good price. My buddy was raving about the burger he had, a good char while still being moist. I had a pulled pork quessadilla and onion rings, as well as as a bowl of French Onio soup... which I devoured before I thought to take a pic. Would definitely recommend giving it a shot.

We went there to eat lunch. Bar and Restaurant, was seated promptly and waitress was very friendly. Menu had a variety of appetizers and sandwiches. I had the Reuben sandwich with fries, my son had the BBQ brisket grilled cheese with onion rings. Portions were large and worth what we paid. I definitely would go there again and recommend trying it out.

Jam night. Stella was 5 bucks but perfect temp in proper glass ware. Have eaten there in the past. Good food. Robert Irvine redid the place on Restaurant Impossible several years ago. They seem to be holding to his standards.
