Lucky's Tavern — Restaurant in North Webster

Being a non smoker it was hard for me to get past the intoxicating cloud of smoke that lingered. But it appeared to be a local favorite of a friend so I was almost forced to try it.

The atmosphere is dead. Just a bunch of people that appeared to be waiting in line for their coffins.

I was the youngest person in the building at 30 years old. And that’s certainly not a problem. But the carpet, tables and overall atmosphere could use a re vamp to say the least.

Ordered the side cheese curds and 1/2 Lb lucky burger with fries. Food came out extremely hot and fresh. No complaints! Taste was very exceptional from the curds to the burger! Portions for everything that I ordered was extremely generous for the price!

I must say I was definitely disappointed on arrival with all of the smoke and setup, but the food made up for all of it.

This place is what sums up hometown Tavern. It is very large with lots of seating. The bartenders are down to Earth, friendly and fun. They learn your name and usually, what you drink. They have: pool, shuffleboard, cards, music and gambling. It is an awesome place for adults to gather and have a great time! The kitchen is open for lunch and dinner. The food is some of the best bar food around!!! The Double Lucky Burger and the Philly Cheese are both AMAZING!!! They do allow smoking and vaping. As a non-smoker I still enjoy it because they have smoke eaters and when people smoke it is usually at the bar. I sit over in the game area to remove myself from it if it is noticeable. I really hope this place thrives for...

Although this isn't far from my home, I don't get a chance to stop into this cool bar often enough. The last time I was in there, there were very few dry eyes in the place. Janelle (I really hope I didn't misspell her name) who had tended bar here for years, had passed away....The impact she had on so many lives was very evident on this night and my heart broke for each and every one of them...Even with that weighing over them, the people who work as well as the patrons were still as friendly as ever and her spirit was kept very much alive.
