Sheila's Sweet Treats & Diner — Restaurant in North Webster

We visit the area seasonally. We only come to Sheila's for the ice cream which is very good ice cream..however the service is always terrible. They're very rude. We've been coming here for years and putting up with the service because we, especially our kids, love the ice cream. Today they had a sign up saying they'd be serving ice cream from 11-2 Saturday and Sunday only. We arrived around 11:15 on a Sunday and we were told by an annoyed employee that they wouldn't serve us ice cream because they had too many other customers waiting for breakfast and lunch to serve. Are all customers not important? Or worthy of the money they could potentially make off the sale on their product? We would have been willing to wait patiently but we were turned away immediately. Other trips we have been treated similarly... Also who loves ice cream more than kids? Is it too much to ask to provide a kid...

Sorry Sheila's Sweet Treats but I've to be honest here. I was driving through the area and stopped in for a shake and hot dog. No hot dog because it was after 2pm. Really? Ok. Just a shake then. Ordered a large banana strawberry. They only have one size the will sell. It's a small. Ok. $5!!!! Got my shake, insert straw, it's not a shake, it's ice cream that could not possibly be had with a straw. Try to mix it with straw and discover they use the cheapest straws possible and it breaks. Fighting the straw I finally get a taste and realize they're not using any real ingredients, only flavored syrups. Honestly everyone, it was terrible. At the price I paid for a small it's not unreasonable to expect quality. Please, for the love of shakes, don't buy yours from this place. It's an...

Dirty tables, terrible service, my malt was so thick I couldn’t drink it, wasn’t mixed, went up and asked to add milk they told me that’s how the malts were. I said ok could I at least get it mixed and the girl looked at me n said I would have to ask her, assuming it was the owner only for me to ask for it to be mixed and her ask what I meant! I said there was chunks of ice cream she took my lid off and stirred it with a spoon!! I could have done that myself. I couldn’t believe the rudeness and immaturity of her stirring my malt. I told her to stop multiple times and she just kept being dramatic and stirring! My malt went in the trash and I will tell everyone I know about my experience from my home town ice cream store....
