Hammerhead Hops & Grill — Restaurant in Northampton

A friend and myself decided to go here. We have never been here before. We showed up me, (Caucasian) dressed in a long sleeve shirt and jeans. Him (non- Caucasian) dressed in a Harry Potter hoodie (with the hood up) and jeans. We sat, were greeted promptly and ordered. Drinks came out right away. My food came out quickly (chicken quesadilla), his ( cheese burger) came out 17 minutes after mine. We sat ate and each had 2 drinks. We were there about 2 hours. At almost the 2 hour mark, another guy (not the guy who waited on us, served us drinks, and got refills) walked past, looked at my friend and snarkily said, "you need to put your hood down." Then went behind the register, took out his phone and stood there pointing his camera at my friend. We asked for the checks. When the checks arrived my friend questioned "what's with the hood thing" , with an answer of, "it's just policy." My friend stated "we've been here 2 hours and no one said nothing" the guy replied "well it's just policy, you can't have your hood up". Nowhere on the door, at the bar, on the website, or anything was this policy posted. There were even other patrons near us that stated, we come here all the time and we've never heard that. The people were 2 girls and a guy, the girls wearing beanie hats with long hair, so their face was more obstructed than my friend. If I could give the food and service a zero, I would! This was hands down the worst "dining" experience I've ever had. We waited 45 minutes for the first order to come out. And they came out one at a time every 10 to 15 minutes. 3 of our 6 orders were wrong. And it was 1 hour and 45 minutes before the last order of fries came out. They were cold and sitting in a literal pool of oil. To make the terrible food worse, the staff was unphased and unapologetic about the wait. When we received our bill, it was just a total. There was no indication of what we were actually paying for. We asked for an itemized bill, judging by the eye roll and confusion, our server wasn't happy about it. If I could rate no stars I would! I will never go there again! We had to get our own menu & waited over 20 minutes before a server came over to our table. Me and my son waited over 2 hours for a cheeseburger and bacon ranch quesadilla that never came! Supposedly the server put our order multiple times but the cook didn’t make it. Our friends friends got there food 1 & 1/4 hours after they ordered it and my husband got his 1 &1/2 hours after he ordered his. And on top of the ridiculous long wait, all of them had cold fries.
