The Bacon Strip — Restaurant in Coplay

Couldn’t pay me to visit this place again. The owners are actually rude people, I witnessed both Emily and Ruben be kind and hospitable to their regular customers, I could tell they knew them all by name.. but for me this is my 2nd time at the Bacon Strip in YEARS because I was displeased the first time.. just to be disappointed once again. If you are NOT A REGULAR they will not treat you with the same respect. The food that I ordered was prepared carelessly, that I actually didn’t eat it and at this point just wanted to pay for my son’s food that he did eat and was going to take home leftovers, and leave. Emily had the audacity to belittle me to other guests thinking that I wasn’t listening all because I didn’t enjoy her food. I then asked for the untouched meal to be removed from my bill and the owner Emily refused. You’re safer going to a diner if they mess your food up they won’t tell you food is too expensive to replace!!!! BE BETTER Bacon Strip. Your customers...

We waited a long time just to get the food. They gave the kids a very small portion of Kraft mac&cheese and Mott’s applesauce in the little container it comes in for $5 when Kraft alone is only $1 at the store. The mac&cheese was dry. Our sandwich & burger were cold and my mothers sandwich had a drop of mayo on it. When she asked for a little more mayo the cook came over with an attitude asking, “is there a problem..” “what, you want your food for free or something??” In which we replied we’re eating and only asked for more mayo. She proceeded to be rude to my mom so my mom said how it’s the worst place she’d ever been. Then the lady picked up both our plates and yelled for us to get out, repeatedly saying that we suck and we are dirty (def not) but she was yelling loudly and repeatedly that us and the kids suck and whatever else. Great visit at the Bacon Strip over in Coplay, PA. We didn’t get there until 1:00 and yet our rockstar server, Taylor, greeted us and continued to hustle with awesome service. New place for us, I always aim to order the pancakes because I love to try the different tastes, textures and flavors. So, I ordered their combo plate with two pancakes, 2 eggs, tater tots (home fries weren’t available), 4 slices of bacon plus added a croissant. ☀️ Substantial and satisfying.

My hubs didn’t want ‘chicken feed’ (foods that won’t fill him) and wanted lunch: a 6 ounce cheeseburger, L,T and those thin, stick fries plus a bowl of pepper pot soup.
